    Hi, could you do a comparison between the macbook pro and the mac studio in performance and heating issues for long time use. I am looking for a device that can do 8k animation (Maya) and editing (Da Vincci) on the go! I tend to use very high bits and fps. Ia m used to windows. This is my first time to mac. Since my windows isnt portable looking for something portable! Also will appreciate if the speed test is done with windows i9 or ultra 9 in comparison with mac studio!

    Thanks for putting this video together. It's very insightful, and legit one of the best review videos out.

    Also is the gpu powerful enough for animation at 8k. My main concern is that no external graphics card could be used with mac studio. I tend to 2 gpu each AMD 24gb vram. I kindda forgot its name.

    during your interview at the end of the video : What do u mean by playback is a little bit slower because its rendering out In after effects ? Would playback have been better in rendering out in premiere pro ? Wouldnt this all be much faster in final cut and motion because its optimized for apple

    • @btonelli
      @btonelli  ปีที่แล้ว

      It was slower as we were rendering out after effects while playback was going on in premiere pro in 6k

    When the 1 hour video was exported from Premier, the m2 Ultra was 3 minutes faster than the m2max. Short videos are fast, but long videos make little difference, is that right? How much difference is there in the 30-minute video?

    • @btonelli
      @btonelli  ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Hi. We are looking at on average about 30 percent faster. I’m using the M2 Max right now and I do notice the Ultra was faster on export especially 8k

      @@btonelli I have one more question. Is it true that bottlenecks occur in 76 cores? So 60 Core makes better use of cpu? Anyway, 76 cores have a fast rendering speed?

    • @btonelli
      @btonelli  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I can’t necessarily answer this question. From my experience bottlenecks can also be a result of the application vs the chipset etc. it takes time for developers to adapt their products to match the capabilities of the chipset especially when it’s new. This is why reviews right from the initial release of a product aren’t always accurate vs giving time for developers to make the necessary changes to take advantage of the new architecture
