I was watching your TH-cam stream making beats the other day while I was working on my own beats! I usually save them for beat tapes, but watching you talk about exporting beats even if you don’t like them, and thinking about all of the unreleased dilla beats on TH-cam helped me decide to start uploading batches of beats I make in a day to bandcamp for free!
Practice. My man's been rapping for more than a decade. Also keeping it simple and just writing is more effective then overthinking what word fits in the beat.
Those last 30 seconds were fucking amazing. It all just came together with the presentation at the beginning "I might fuck this up, but this is typically half a verse" and with the freestyle at the end. I got so many chills, shits crazy
I been at a crossroads lately as a producer (as well as an aspiring rapper) and i was wondering if my process specifically was wrong. While watching this, I realized me and you have an eerily similar process and that put me at ease. Thanks for uploading this Bobby, love you man and I hope you upload more like this! Seeing you work is a blessing!
Logic bro, thank you for making this, I just started making some beats last night and was up till 6 in the am cranking em out! I don’t think they’re amazing but they’re definitely better than anything I’ve done before. Watching your process is just fueling that flame in me and inspiring me to keep it pushing! Much love! Gonna keep representing for the RATTpack and pushing PLP till the day I die!
I've just started making beats and you really inspire me and give me motivation to keep making more. These videos recently have been so helpful and have helped me make some fire ones, thank you bro :)
Brooo what you said at 2:06 is SOOOO REAL... I can't tell you how many times I made something that sounded better un-quantized and just RAW instead of on beat. Its like... being on beat sounds mathematically right, but when you get that SLIGHT laid back, sort of off beat feel, it TOUCHES THE SOUL.... That's why I LOVE the beats you and 6ix be putting together 🔥🔥🔥
Would be an awesome experience to write/record/produce a track with logic, i love that no matter what level artists are on or how big they get, its always still the same sort of process with developing music, this makes me wanna pick the pen back up, much love Bobby stay OG!
Thank you so much for making this Bobby. You actually were my inspiration to start making beats, all started with that planetory destruction mixtape. I actually just entered my first art exhibition with my beats yesterday, and as cliche as it sounds it’s really all thanks to you. Thanks for being such a huge inspiration to me, your mentality to just have fun when creating has really helped me to really enjoy the process. My dream is to have a conversation with you one day man, and I’m gonna keep working hard to hopefully make that happen one day. Best of wishes to you and your family ✌️❤️➕
Great seeing your process very similar to how I write... mumbling over and over to myself and jotting it down and talking out loud to myself about the process haha. Big ups man!
I usually start with samples because it’ll be inspiration from a weird abstract realm. And I want to build the drums around that vibe. But sometimes I’ll do drums first if I hear really dope drums from a song I haven’t heard before like the KOD drums; it’s harder to make original loops like that though, because then when you take out the drums the sample sounds incomplete.

Logic-4
(Verse 1)
You say the thrill is gone, I wonder who's to blame
Life's a puzzle, tryna put the pieces to the game
Caught up in the struggle, we all feel the same
But I'mma bring the heat, ignite the flame
I'm like a rocket in the sky, ascension never stoppin'
Got my goals in sight, just watch me while I'm droppin'
Lines with precision, a lyrical magician
Breakin' free from chains, the mental prison
I spit fire, a message so profound
Rhymes intertwine like DNA unwound
I'm rappin' for the masses, spreadin' love, not fear
Wear my heart on my sleeve, I make it crystal clear
(Chorus)
You say the thrill is gone, I wonder who's to blame
But we can make a change, rewrite the game
Together we stand strong, won't let it be in vain
Rise above the pain, let love remain
(Verse 2)
Time's tickin', but I'm never slippin'
Logic in the booth, got the whole world flippin'
I stand tall, never fall, in control of my fate
Aim for the stars, success is what I'll create
I speak the truth, no lies, just facts
Break the mold, defy the odds, never crack
A force of nature, like a hurricane's wrath
I'm on a mission, won't be stopped by the aftermath
Seeking answers in a world full of questions
The thrill might be gone, but we're destined for progression
I'm a beacon of hope, a light in the dark
A voice for the people, a lyrical spark
(Bridge)
The thrill may be gone, but we'll bring it back
Unified, we fight, no room for slack
Rise above the negativity, make a stand
With love and logic, we'll heal this land
(Chorus)
You say the thrill is gone, I wonder who's to blame
But we can make a change, rewrite the game
Together we stand strong, won't let it be in vain
Rise above the pain, let love remain
(Outro)
You say the thrill is gone, we'll prove you wrong
With love and logic, we'll stay headstrong
A brighter future, we'll build brick by brick
Together we stand, united and quick
My guy just wrote a whole song up in here what a legend
