In "I need u" Tae stabbed the Father who beat his sister. Then in Prologue he calls the RM to go to him. At the end of Prologue, Tae shoots off the platform. At the beginning of Run shows the Tae to fall into the water. During the MV of the RUN Tae is in the water to drown himself. It's as if everything that happened in Run was the thoughts of the V while he was in the water. At the end of Run he comes out of the water.
And in that photo that jimin got Jin is not in it. If you do not know Jin has the gift of going back in time and fixing things. If you read the notes, everyone will understand the story better.
The notes see in the albums in Korean but in twitter they are translated. Search for them and read them on. There are 61 notes🤗
Also the photo that Jimin got, Jin was in it and the members reappeared at the end of the “Epiphany” MV 😱😭

The photo Jimin had on his hand did not have Jin. In Epiphany's Mv, Jin appears in the photo first and then the other members appear.

Run is it's own MV, it has no scenes from other MVs and it is in a trilogy with I need you and butterfly. Also none of this is based on real events, it's the BTS fictional universe and the song has nothing to do the the MVs as well. The trilogy really focuses on the duality of youth, the fun and the depression

They have fought. They’ve all said it, they actually have this show or documentary... w.e u want to call it, it’s called burn the stage. In one of the episodes it shows Jin and Tae having a fight. It wasn’t that big but that’s the closest we’ve seen to a fight in the group.

Klaudia Lata imo he didn't die he just messed up the timeline really bad because how he traveled back so many times to fix things and MAYBE ended up creating two different universes. (Japanese version of BS&T , Run , INU etc) idk why but I have a feeling the Highlight Reels are like a different universe lol if you read all the notes it will make more sense. and i even saw a thread were the army explained it really well how is it possible that there's two universe in the BU.

But you can choose to read the notes by yourself. Or just read the webtoon called 'Save Me' which is currently going and it's really good and also explains the storyline chapter by chapter. (just in case you decide to read the webtoon series, i'll give you a trigger warning)

omg y'all are going to be hella confused the story is still not reveled to this day its actually all connected they just be giving us hints and we dont even now. The storys do connect. each member plays a part to the story. they play a huge role on how people view society. Like J- Hope over dosing because of his childhood trauma. Jimin trying to drown (hence the tub filled with water) J-hope and Jimin are a pair their both suicidal (that's why their both in the hospital) Suga and Jungkook are a pair as well ( i don't know the full details but something happen to one of them and that caused the other one to feel in fault). V and RM are a pair, supposialy V and RM made a pact that they will be there for each other forever. As you can see in the Music Video, when they smiled to each other even though they were being arrested they at least had each others backs. But something happened between them. V made a huge crime. He killed his abusive father, He ran away once he realized what he has done. He called for help and that being RM. IN the short films you could see what happened ( RM couldn't help him). So V started calling RM a liar. V was sent to jail in the short film ( im guessing). the rest is for you to find out. WHile Jin is by himself. a lot of people are saying that hes dead or that hes a time traveler because he knows whats going on between all the pairs ( Referring to your reaction when You mention Jin, the cards falling, and the glass breaking they are all connecting to how Jin knew what was going on between Suga and Jungkook.)
There is a lot of theories going on. YOu just have to read some to guess which one fits the scenes. BTS has said many times that ARMY'S are right; but we don't now witch theory they were referring to *sigh*

"All I know is how to love you" (the realest line btw) I feel like it means that sometimes the problem is bigger then what you have to give, as in, I love you but I just don't know how to help you. Like the video motifs of drug addiction/depression Or Abuse... cuz life gets too real sometimes. There have been interviews of Jungkook expressing that nothing really bothers him (think they were being asked what was difficult when they were starting out b/c he excelled in everything) and he said the only difficulties I had was seeing his hyungs (older brothers) have a difficult time b/c there really wasn't anything he could do to help them with that.

Your theories were great! I NEED U came out before Run, but Run could definitely take place before INU in the storyline!
A general interpretation for Run: The boys are running away from their problems. In I Need U, you see their struggles growing up, but in Run you see them trying to get away from all that. When they're all together, they can forget about everything and just live. You saw them spray-painting, blocking traffic, drinking, partying, pillow-fightig.
But them having fun doesn't make the problems go away. As you saw, J-Hope and Jimin were in the hospital. Jungkook and Suga were fighting. V and RM got arrested. They want to be keep running away, but they can't.
Did you notice the house of cards that Jin was building? It collapsed. Jin just watches. The collaps shows that their happiness isn't stable or long-lasting. They have fun when they're all together, rebelling and running away, but in the end their struggles are still there. They won't be together forever, that's what the house of cards symbolizes. It also hints to a song they released: House of Cards by the vocal line, that deals with a doomed relationship using a house of cards as a metaphor for the relationship.
One of the cards shown also had the symbol of a butterfly on it, a symbol that appears many times in their MVs/storyline. They have a song Butterfly, about someone/something that is so precious and beautiful, they compare it to a butterfly asking if it's real or not. In that sense they would be compsring their friendship to a butterfly, something so precious to them that they sometimes feel like theyre living in a dream. Another way to look at the symbol of a butterfly is the process of growing up. The boys are caterpillars in that sense, but when they go through it all they'll be butterflies aka adults. Afterall the storyline deals with seven boys growing up. At the end of the road, they'll change and be able to 'fly', meaning realise their full potential.
The pairs also returned in Run. Jimin and J-Hope in the hospital. RM and V on the streets. Suga and JK fighting. And Jin as the watcher/driver.
Other things: You noticed correctly that Jimin was in a bathtub again in this MV! Jimin and water/bathtubs is a reoccuring theme. Him burning the picture at the end shows him after it all, after the boys seperate and are no longer together. If u noticed, Jin also disappeared from the photo in the end. We don't know exactly what this means, but there are many theories about it. Like said before, Jin is the one who's different. He is always watching and he isn't paired up with anyone. One theory is that he dies. Another is that he starts going back in time to fix the past. This sounds crazy but there's more to support that theory than you would expect at first.
V falling into the water in the beginning actually hints to a scene shown in prologue where V jumps into the ocean. He jumps in and the MV starts playing. Those are his memories. V is remembering how things used to be, how they were together even though things were rough. In the end, you seem him emerge from the water, showing he's stopped remembering.
Anyway, quick reminder of things from I Need U: V killed his father, J-Hope overdosed, JK got beat up and hit by a car, Jimin in the bathtub, RM was at the gas station, Jin burned flower petals and Suga burned down his hotel room.
Anyway, up next you should definitely watch Prologue! I can't wait!

Anyway, if you watch in the descriptions of the videos, you'll se the BU logo, means Bangtan Universe, it means that its connected to the story... still in these days we don't know the actual story. They give us piece by piece at every era, armys made SO many theories. But some days ago, on twitter an account has been created, its called Smeraldo Books, since its has been created they post a video related to BU and some notes (little books you receive whe you an album). With BTS everythins has a meaning, the flowers, the glass, the fights, even just the stares. It blows so much my mind...
FUN Fact: The car they used in the video was BTS' manager car. They couldn't efford to rent a car for the mv.

RUN is part of the Bangtan Universe storyline. First is I NEED U.

Run was my first bts music video I didn’t think much of it but 2 years later I became a huge fan of bts crazy
I believe in an old interview, Jungkook described it as this: "I Need U represents finding bits of happiness during sad times, while Run shows the existing sadness/anger through the happiness" INU was overall a heartwrenching MV but u still have scenes of the boys having fun together, meanwhile Run is on the lighter side in general w the party scenes n all while also have those small parts of turmoil.
I think this is about friends who have been separated and now missing each other and suffering that's why spring day said never walk alone

i heard that bts and their team were inspired by the marvel universe so they made their own story-line that continues and connects in many other music videos. Their story including the great moments with each other as group and how their own personal struggles later damages the group and even so much more to the story

Yeah you guys are right BTS have talked pretty openly about how they have arguments or disagreements sometimes. In the last episode burn the stage they talked about how they would fight all the time when they were first starting out and first starting living together. And yeah I definitely agree with you guys, fights and arguments and disagreements are inevitable with the people that you are closest to. Epecially when you live with them. From what BTS have said about how they resolve any conflicts though, they’re really great at resolving conflicts and resolving them pretty quickly. They said that if there’s a conflict, even if it’s just between 2 of the members, at some point all 7 of them will sit down and talk it out as a family and resolve it. And also really enjoyed your guys’ reactions as well!

funnily enough, suga hasnt raised his voice on anyone in his entire life. Hes the chillest one, he prefers peace and silence when it comes to fight so I think he just sort of lets the ther person speak or walks away. He can never hit anyone, much less bts members.

You’re soooooooooooo close to getting it. Pay attention to the flower in the scene with Jin and the breaking glass and cards. The flowers reappear in he many different videos. That type of flower doesn’t exist in nature. It’s Jins job to protect it (BTS) and he tries SO hard every time and in many different ways. Pay attention to the flowers. I’m so proud of you guys!!!!!! The basic and most popular theory for I need u and run are is that jin is dead, so they start acting up, the card house falling symbolizes their idea crumbling, if you notice the scenes when jin is supposed to be driving, that only 5 members are in the back. All members would be in the back if jin was driving, yet one is up front. Notice the very small things, they’re the biggest clues
