"The Music of Ben Bernie and his Orchestra (1922-1941)" made by the Composer Collection, 19/05/2021.
This video takes a look at the recordings from Ben Bernie and his Orchestra from 1922 to 1941, well-known as the "Old Maestro". He made a lot of appearances on film and made a short film for Lee de Forest's Phonofilm in 1925, and I've included three numbers from that film in this video. My personal favourites in these are "Sweet Georgia Brown" and "Ain't She Sweet".
