there are artists from 1st to 4th gen start with Kang-Ta from H.O.T, BoA, Super Junior, TVXQ, Girl's Generation(some of members left SM now, now Yoon-A, Taeyeon, Yuri and Hyo-Yeon remained but they got together again for forever 1 album), Red Velvet, some NCT members and Aespa in the MV. This song is SM's representative family song composed by Kang-Ta from H.O.T from 1999. Yoon-HO is Korean and a member of TVXQ and BoA have long career in Japan so he can speak Japanese like native.
Seo Hyun studied English in school (I don't know for how long), Soo Young got tired of waiting for a translation, so she studied on her own. Tae Yeon and Tiffany were roommates for three years… Tae Yeon taught Tiffany to lose her American accent when speaking Korean, and Tiffany taught Tae Yeon how to curse in English like an American.
About "Hope" is a song from the first boygroup that SM had, called H.O.T. They were one of the first groups that founded the foundations of kpop as it is known today, Kangta is the only member of the group that is still in the company as a soloist.
“Hope” is a song that they always sing at the end of every SMTOWN concerts... and yeah it’s a very meaningful song same goes to Dear My Family. This is one of 2 songs sing by all SM artists that always bring me Emotion😢

as others already noted, "Hope" is from the 1st Gen group 'H.O.T'. Fun fact': Apparently Hyoyeon's mother was an H.O.T. fan, and she took Hyoyeon to audition at SM partly because she hoped she'd then meet H.O.T in person!
Soo Young is Korean, but she debuted in Japan before she joined SNSD; Boa had a long career as a soloist in Japan… I think she was one of the first Korean's to be popular there. Kara and Tara were hugely popular in Japan (neither were signed with SM music, but there might be others like Soo Young and Boa that I'm just not familiar with their history.
Hope is a song from the boy group HOT. Every year for SMTOWN Concert all the artist in the company at that time sing this for closing. If you don't see your favorite that's because they were debuted yet. This concert was from 2015. Not only groups but the solo idols too so all of SM is here for the final song. But SMTown before this period was the best and the stage used to be filled and chaotic.

SM Family :) In that concert, NCT we’re the rookie group. Crazy. This is the reason why I’m a SM stan. With the amount of groups still active is insane. Can forget a lot of them have solos. You are never boring. Lol

You should react to SNSD performance at Smtown concert 2022.. they finally performed as a full group at smtown after 5 years (their last performance during smtown 2017 which is the one that you watch in this video) & seosootiff are under different company but they manage to perform at SMtown concert

I think you should definitely do a deep dive of Super Junior they were the blueprint for Girls Generation. None of their members are Japanese but they had 2 Chinese in the past. The first Kpop group with foreign members and to have subunits. Also, first to win international award and they are still going strong celebrating their 18th debuted anniversary last month.

He is U-KNOW JUNHO of TVXQ. His full Korean, his fluent in Japanese because they promoted in Japan for quite sometimes.
