It does catch a little wind, if you are willing to spend a bit more ($329 + painting) I would recommend JTD lowers. But for $120, i am satisfied. They block the wind off my legs, there is a bit more input from the wind. It does come with storage bag, so you can use it when it's cold and take it off and put it in the saddle bag for warmer rides!
