Today your average artillery piece can loose about 6 rounds per minute. So 6 rounds per minute from 70,000 artillery pieces for 96 hours adds up to about 2,419,200,000 shells. Their 100 million orderd shells wouldn't even cover a 20th of that.

Xaphans power and control rested on the belief that an invasion was imminent
But what if it didn't arrive? What if nothing came?
People would see he was full of shit, and doubts would set in, internal politics would tear apart the defenders in a fraction of the time they thought it would take
Hell, if the inquisition sent a subterfuge team to spread dissent, cause accidents on minor power officials and commanders
No siege necessary, just a blockade and subterfuge
It's 40k, there are no war crimes because no type of war is outlawed
I have been waiting so long for you guys to talk about this!!! So excited
me: well this sounds like and interesting guy, and quite kind
AR: his second in command is named Mammon

He's a space dock worker - he's going to hide in an outgoing crate and that will be game over because he is unaware the Mechanicus doesn't pump air to cargo sections or something.
I've never been more excited for an episode.
YES YES YES THIS IS WHAT I'VE BEEN WAITING FOR
I just bought the first Siege of Vraks book too, it's one of my fav 40k stories
Bricky thinking of the mass effect citadel apartment instantly warmed my heart. Same.
As soon as I heard 'planet-wide revolution' my thought was 'okay, so that adviser who keeps encouraging the cardinal is definitely in league with tzeench...'
39 minutes in and finally that quote was nuts. Absolutely baller
I hear Boom Boom Boom by the Venga boys.
(Hanz dances in the distance)
Shy sneaking in my check failure WiP
Thanks boss 💙
15:30 Wait a minute, Vraks only has 8 million people?
I know GW sucks with numbers sometimes but that sounds like a MAJOR oversight. Most modern day nations have more people than that.
Ah yes, the Vraks campaign; 40K’s version of WW1 on steroids, now with added war crimes!
The reason for the assassin's failure was that to shoot through the column he needed to use an armor piercing round and because of that he didn't choose a shield piercing one.
you guys HAVE to show the Janovich animations. he is all about krieg and vraks.
Let's go for Siege of Vraks! Give some recognition for my fellow Kriegsmen!
Also, since we've had a rather wholesome Shy Christmas poster, and a Bricky-centered "For the Nya-mperor!" poster, we now need a DK-centric poster of him getting the everliving shit just bitch-slapped out of him by a deadpan Canoness
