Hello and welcome once again, we are keeping the videos flowing at the moment. This video shows you the little site in Garstang with plenty to do especially on a lovely summers day.
On-site there is a lovely cafe with great weekly offers, breakfast till 11.30am and evening meals.
We enjoyed our time here even though the weather was terrible. The walk into Garstang is a lovely path down the camel, watching all the boats go past and even moored up along the sides.
In the video we show you a lovely little restaurant that serves food like tapas, burgers, grazing boards, salads, paninis etc. we opted for the tapas and really really enjoyed it with a lovely glass of wine.
The campsite cafe is worth a mention too. I had lamb and mint pie and Kay had beef and ale pie, both come with chips and peas swilled down with a nice stout. 😀👍

A big shout out for the facility block, these are the best ones we have been to over the years, plenty of space in each cubicle including, toilet, wash basin, and shower and more hooks than Captain Hook 😂

Thanks for the heads up on wheel nut covers I didn’t know I needed them until you showed your ones ! ours have discoloured and look unsightly against the clean wheels 😊

A few words to the wise about putting up the sun canopy (it isn't an awning!)
a) After you jave wound it out, wind it back a couple of turns. This avoids having all the tension taken on the fabric / roller joint.
b) To avoid water pooling after rain have the pole to MoHo slope steeper than you have shown
c) For the same reason have on leg at least 15 cm higher than the other.
d) Peg the feet down
e) Invest in storm straps.
