Minnesota sports won all the 2020 draft by far Anthony Edwards Krill Kaprizov I know he wasn’t drafted but he was a rookie in 2020 and then Justin Jefferson of course

Great list, someone mentioned Darrisaw and that was a great point. I'd also have Royce a bit lower because his sample size is so small I don't think he's proven that he's better that he's better than Jhoan but again great list overall

Pretty accurate list, in my opinion. I might disagree with Krill up so high, but I understand that he is really good. Loved the video!
Kirill I put up so high because of his superstar status and how dominant he can be when fully healthy. This season he’s been very good and keeping the team’s limited playoff chances close to alive. Long story short I really don’t know how I could justify putting Kirill below 3 🤣🤣

The only way one would disagree with kirill being that high is if you do not follow hockey. He's better at hockey than Ant is at basketball.
Our top 3 guys are so incredible that there is a real argument that they could all be number 1.

Yeah Boldy is just on that boarder-line probably should’ve been an honorable mention but he’s very up and down in consistency. I hope he can keep playing how he’s been lately though!

I personally would have put Ek for the Wild in the number 10 spot over Hock. Ek has been criminally underrated in the NHL he is one of the best two way centers and when he is hurt (like right now) the team suffers greatly. Even on the Vikings I would be temped to say Darrisaw is better than Hock. Dont get me wrong Hock is great and I'm super happy he is on MN but I would probably have him at 12.

Boldly over Eker
Boldy is just a little too hot and cold for me (he is still young). When Boldy is on his game he is better than Ek but when he is not on its game it hurts. Ek is also insane on the PK. I still would never want to trade Boldy, Ek, Kaprizov or Faber from MN.
Also ek in the face off circle is actually nuts. When he’s in the game it seems like the wild always win the face off battle. He’s literally top ten in that regard.

Ant will be number one the next time this video is made imo. At the end of the day, it’s AMAZING to have this much talent in Minnesota. Jettas, Ant and Kaprizov have the potential to be LEGENDS-like streets named after them type guys.

They're a fun team to watch!! They got some young guys that are going to keep this team good for a long time.
JJETTAS #18 is unstoppable when healthy, he breaks records and makes new ones, he even surpassed the legendary Randy Moss if you haven’t heard ever ever since day one. Blud is unreal, even Randy Moss applauded him. I hope jets never leaves and retires a Viking.
SAME! Yeah JJ is insane the more you look at his stats the more you are just WOW'd by him! I hope he is a Viking for life!
Not having fleury as an hm is kinda nuts. While he has been dealing with injuries recently, he has still had an HOF career and continues to impress many
He was someone I thought of putting on here for sure because of his HOF career, but it ultimately came down to how they are performing as of right now and not so much what they've done throughout their career. If it was for their entire career Fleury is probably the number 1 player we would have.
I would say that Harrison Smith and Josh Metellus definitely deserve at least an honorable mention for how important they are for our defense.
Both are ELITE at what they do. Metellus is so sneaky good being basically the "do everything" player for the team and The Hitman is still playing some great football. Both of these guys definitely deserve some praise here.

Yeah there's a real argument for 1 and 2 there for ANT and JJ. I went with JJ because he's making history in his sport... but maybe ANT can make some history 👀
CD is someone I think should have been at least an honorable mention yeah... That dude is a monster.
The only defensive player I think could've made the list was Hunter... but he's not on the Vikings anymore. Harrison Smith should have probably gotten an honorable mention the more I think about it though.

Harrison is definitely in consideration for all time but as of right now he isn’t on the top 10 list at this stage of his career unfortunately:/
I would put Lewis over Correa and towns tbh he's gonna be a stud might even pass Edward's too I'd also take Kaprizov over ant as well
Lewis is so much fun to watch ! For me it was just because of how small of a sample size we have for him to this point. Kaprizov, ANT and JJ are basically in that same tier of superstar players at their sport, you could truly make an argument for any of them to be number 1.
I think Boldy after the last two seasons deserved an HM

7:44 the reason Correa took the “break” was cause his plantar “broke” which was good and they decided it was best to just rest him mostly because the division was already a lock otherwise. He could have came back for the last week of the season

Yeah that’s totally valid! He was a huge contributor when JJ and Kirk went down. Provides good spark for the offense. I hope he recovers soon and is on the field close to the start to the regular season.

Buxton no honorable mention?? I don’t follow hockey but I think Pablo is 3. Royce is better the Correa as Correa was underwhelming this year
Buxton was just so hurt last year… it was hard not having him on this list, but I hope that changes for next year !
I still think Kaprizov is a bit better than Pablo, but they’re both elite!
Royce and Correa were back and forth and ultimately I went Correa one spot higher just because of how he ended the year and his overall leadership. Lewis will climb the list though I am sure of it!

Yeah the expectations aren't as high as they have been... it really depends on who they identify in the draft as their QB of the future and if they are going to make an impact immediately. If they can get their version of CJ Stroud, this team is going to be real good.

Edwards should be one bro. JJ is nice, very nice, but he won't ever be the NFL MVP... Edwards is on his way to being the best player in the league.
They're both so close that it was very tough to decide 1 and 2 there... It was ultimately just how many records JJ has broken at his position this early in his career. It's very close though!

Both play such different roles… Rudy definitely is playing some of his best basketball ever. KAT being hurt doesn’t help his case at all. But I can definitely see the argument for Rudy over KAT

Tried to keep all the sports as fair as possible. In total I mentioned 4 Twins, 4 Wolves, 3 Vikings and 3 Wild Players. Some honorable mentions, but I tried to be as fair as possible with the current state of Minnesota Sports.

Royce's sample size was just too small at this stage of his career but... if he stays healthy and keeps playing like he has he will climb the list!

I would have Ant at number 1 over JJ. The reason why is that with Ant I have belief that the Twolves can win any game, that Ant can be the best player on the court even with the likes of Jokic and Luka. I know it’s a different sport but I just don’t get that feeling with JJ. JJ is the best at his position but at his position I don’t think he can single handedly win Vikings games the way Ant can single handedly win games for the wolves.
That's a very good point... I found it so difficult making the list because of the fact that a basketball players impact can single handedly make a team better overall. Football is more of a team sport for sure. I guess it came down to Justin Jefferson breaking so many records so early on in his career. Truly though I went back and forth between the two of them.

The team had one of the best seasons in a long time and breaking their postseason losing streak. They are definitely deserving of being in the spots that they’re in. Rudy could be higher I can totally see that argument.

I had them back and forth at 1 and 2. Right now JJ has the awards and historic numbers at his position, but ANT is probably more valuable to his team as a whole... It's a true 1A and 1B. A good problem to have for Minnesota Sports ! Hah
