Did that thing have a fan in it? Just, if you can get to it in time. I'm working on one that was freezing up. Did appear to be infected with something. I thought maybe it could be overheating, but not sure. It made some screeching type sound, one time, but haven't heard it since. Perhaps the hard drive?
Yeah did yesterday. Not that bad actually although why would you make the RAM so hard to access? anyways, I wanted to remove the bios password but no luck since modern laptops have added security which stores the password outside the traditional BIOS EPPROM any suggestions?
hello great video, you're a pro! I want to access the CMOS battery, is it BEHIND the motherboard? I think I see it on the part where you remove the ram but i'm not sure.
Cool, I appreciate the response. I'm going to reformat, and see what happens. It may continue to fail, in which case, I've spent too much time on it, not to have it fixed. Things are crappy sometimes in the computer repair world. Maybe I should have stopped working on it at the sound of a screech. Don't think the guy was looking to spend much money on it.
It wouldn't kill me, but after 700+ videos it would probably kill my voice and it is all the same repetitive. That's why I have this video on my channel that might be helpful. th-cam.com/video/umxZ_nqzxNk/w-d-xo.html Sorry for such a late response. Thank you!
Thanks and yeah no fan these things are overheaters easy. vents on the bottom and easily blocked off by a table cothe or your lap evil little bugger but you save dme from breaking the casing ( i usually have no problems have opened many laptops but these little buggers%^&$*%^
Most videos I see don't go that far taking the machines apart. Thanks for that.

Hi, thanks!
You are right! CMOS is on the same side where memory slot is.

It can be a hard drive, and you may find some used one for not a big money ... unless client don't want to fix anything ...
How does the keyboard come out? It feels like it's going to bend and snap
