    Johnny & The Hurricanes were an awesome group. Bought everything they put out on 45 rpm and then bought the LPs too.

    Härlig låt...Såg dom 2002 på Konserthuset som var kanon...Johnny Paris hade en härlig scen stil med sin saxofon....läste att han hade gått bort 1 maj 2006.....R.I.P

    Thank you very, very much, whoever put that on. Since I was teenager, some 50 years ago. THIS FANTASTIC BAND and melody, trade mark snarling SAX, NEVER let me go. Finally I see this band. I am from AUSTRIA. THANKS A MILLION for that!

    Saw these guys 1960 Syracuse NY. The arrangements are amazing. This was during the Ventures era several years before the British Invasion. When I hear Johnny and the boys I immediately know I am listening to Real Rock'n'Roll. Rock on gentlemen.

    I was a little kid back in the 60's when I remember first hearing it on a 45 rpm. That is just good O'l rock and roll. If the uploaded recording was better equalized it would sound even better Nice to see these legends of rock playing their classics live years later. Also that keyboard sound matches the sound from the old record.

    Saw them in Indianapolis during the "Biggest Star Show" tour in early 1960. They beat the pants off all the other acts including the Clovers, Bobby Rydell, Cliff Richard (billed as "the British Elvis"), and Frankie Avalon (the headliner). They smoked! Will never forget that performance!!

      +Todd Young Very interesting, remember seeing the 'Johnnie Gibson Trio' at the 'Pit Lounge' in Fostoria, '67 or '68, to me that was kinda neat? Still hear their songs on 'Sirius XM' 'Beachcomber/Midnight?' Still have fond memories of am radio and the Toledo stations, WTOD, WOHO,, and their was another one that was 1520, started around '67 or '68, can't remember their call letters?

    • @hottoddy6757
      @hottoddy6757 9 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      +imusfan48 Maybe the station was WCWA or Seaway as it was called. There is always a story behind the story on so many things. I listened to CKLW out of Windsor Canada. But they cut back signal at 10 pm. Was so glad when FM was introduced. Have a Great Happy Thanksgiving!

      In the hands of the ultra left. We let them win so we have ourselves to blame. Trump did somethings right got the statue of Winston Churchall back which Obama sent away and made amends with the Queen which Obama was banned from ever coming due to wrecking the summer retreat cottage she and whomever she invites go to.

    • @kylehill3643
      @kylehill3643 5 ปีที่แล้ว

      Bush once threw up once all over the Prime Minister he opened his mouth to speak and out it came! That was more to stupidity then being evil. Obama actually said bad stuff about America if it weren't for the media protection any other person who said it would've been booted out of office.
