Great information! I'm a student N.midwife in New Zealand and I just used some of your techniques at a homebirth. The woman loved it so i'll continue using them in my practice.
then go to a real licensed massage therapist whom knows how to do massage and has a knowledge of human abitomy this video show some really poor massage technique
I used the counter pressure positions and they were amazing!!! I was sitting on a yoga ball relaxing into my husband who was sitting behind me. Then when I had a contraction I stood up and braced myself on the edge of the bed while he pushed on my hips. 😍 Could not have done it without him. It was amazing!! We also did it when I was on all 4's with my hands on the back of the bed. Labor went super quick. 1st baby, 6.5 hrs, unmedicated.
Ahh! I love it! Way to go daddy for all the help! I love that you were able to move around and listen to what your body needed to cope. Thank you for sharing a part of your birth story!
Told my friends I’m going for a natural birth and they all fell silent with wide eyes! I feel it’s part of American culture to be afraid of feeling ANY pain during labor & delivery and quickly “solve it” with medication instead of coping techniques in your video. Adding this video to my “Laboring Techniques” TH-cam playlist to help me cope when the baby comes in 11 weeks :)
You are so very right. It was so shocking to my family and friends as well. All the natural births that I know of went way more smoothly and faster healing time than the medicated. I have many other videos to help prepare for labor but I see your mindset is very strong! Keep me updated I am 34 weeks myself!
Dancee Pinkston You’re so close! I’m 29 weeks and have been upping my exploration of labor coping techniques and even dabbling in some hypnobirthing! It’s so encouraging to hear that natural, unmedicated births had faster healing times! Really looking forward to the benefits of going the natural way. I just found your channel and have a lot of videos to catch up on 😊 Will keep you posted on my progress and hope to hear about yours too! 😊
Dancee Pinkston Thanks for asking! I’m 41+0 weeks tomorrow! Lost part of my mucous plug on Saturday which gave me a lot of encouragement even after feeling discouraged to still be pregnant! Went to the obgyn today and finally agreed to a cervical check and I’m 4cm dilated and 70% effaced! Tech said he looked great, fluid is great as well as the placenta. Had a sweep today also (was wanting to go 1000% natural with absolutely zero interventions but I’m ok with the sweep instead of other methods so far) and walked, squated and “dipped my hips” and rolled my pelvis under to engage him deeper in my pelvis like you showed me 😄Scheduled the induction for Wednesday at 41+1 (sigh....not what I wanted/planned but I’m trying to do what’s right for him to minimize anything happening to him) and I have half a brain to call them back and push it to Friday 41+3 to give him a little more time to come out. Bingeing all of your videos on natural ways to induce labor and praying that the sweep will put me over the edge in the next 24-48 hours. Your birth video and story of feeling a bit discouraged is how I feel right now and I’m so happy you shared it so I don’t feel so alone in thinking that there’s something wrong with my body learning this new skill called “giving birth”. Please pray for me and my little one mama! This Texas FTM needs it! And thank you for putting out these incredibly helpful and raw videos of childbirth and motherhood! 🥰🥰
I will say labor pain aint just any pain, it's a whole lot- these women were probably thinking "oh man, she's in for it" but didn't want to say so! As to the idea that natural births are smoother and faster- perhaps this is because people who had naturally smooth fast labors didn't feel the need for pain control as much as the women who had long difficult labors? Just a thought! I think all women who desire a natural birth should go for it, and all women should have access to non medical pain control like this video, but there should be no shame about needing formal medical pain control- shit hurts.
Absolutely don’t save for just labor! Wonderful to do in third trimester along with my soothing pregnancy stretching exercises! They are on my channel 😘
Love it! I hope I get to use these techniques this go around! My first labor was so fast and intense there was no soothing! lol All I had was my mindset!

This is so so awesome! I loved hearing this! I did a lot of research to gather what I thought was the best!

Doing this for my wife who isn’t in labor but definitely lots of pregnancy pain. She said it helps a lot so thank you.

Just watching and imagining these massages is making me feel so relaxed 😌🤤😴. 😆 40wks currently and my husband is now required to study these.
Being a Birth Doula this Video has been Such a Wonderful tool to share with my Clients 💞 THANK YOU my beautiful friend
Thank you. I will be with my youngest daughter for the birth of my first grandson and all these massages will be of great help.
Loved loved loved the pushing the hips together thing my doula did. Helped so much!
These are so good. I can't wait to try them all with my client.

Thank you so much. This is the exact info I have been looking for to show my husband before Baby Number 3 comes in the next week or 3. Thank you again
Thank you
Love these! Will try them 😁
Hi! I've never heard of polarity massage. At what point during labor would you suggest trying those? Are they just for grounding? 🙂
They are great for transition and pushing!
Great information.
Hoping to use these in my labor!
wish my boyfriend would do this for me
