    This finishes my build for Stevo D 313 Buildoff 10. Thanks for watching! This F103GT TS050 Hybrid video build series had lots of interest and views. If you do get this kit, consider adding the upgrades I've done as they do make the vehicle smoother (rear TRF special damper amzn.to/2Q2bbLZ and front low friction suspension balls ) and stronger (metal motor mount).

    Yes, looks great !
    That asphalt looks rough for it

      Yeah I need to find a much smoother lot for next run.

    Looks great.. they need such a smooth surface I bet a tennis court would be awesome for it! Nice test run.

      Yeah I didn't realize that lot was so rough until you put a super low chassis like this on it. I need to find a better place to run it until our next indoor onroad facility opens.

      Netcruzer RC TECH CARS I run an F103GT Nissan GTR LM version, the one before the Toyota was released, and if you get the settings right and use grippy tires it’s so smooth to drive. Our track in Manila is tarmac outdoors and is smoother than the parking lot where you tested but in any case the tires will be the key poin for getting these cars to run well. Once I got some grippy tires and used traction compound my F103GT with Torque Tuned drove better than my fully setup TT02 😊

      Netcruzer RC TECH CARS Additional upgrades to consider apart from your existing ones are - F104 shaft balancer, 0.4 mod spur and pinion gears, loosen the screw on the T-bar that controls how much it twists left and right, and put a spacer on the kingpin above the front uprights to get some camber. Also move as much of the electronics to the rear to shift the weight more to the rear wheels. All of these mods is really to get the rear wheels to grip and improve control, once it gets grip its soo fun to drive!

    Along with the shock that you put on do you think a gyro would have worked also

    Awesome John, I think im gonna have to install the spektrum with avc that I took off the Infraction, I knew it might be hard to drive, when i drove Bucks direct drive Terrell f36 six wheel f1 at the track it spun out easy unless u eased the throttle on

    • @netcruzer
      @netcruzer  5 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Yeah AVC is a good idea. I'm sure the car handles much better on a prepped smooth surface and with careful throttle input like most 2WD vehicles. I was rushing to get this video done for today so I just went to a close by lot, I was surprised how rough it was. I look forward to driving this on a real track.

    I’m no on road car guy but that surface is in need of sweeping. You can see the car hopping off pebbles. I’d find a better parking lot.

    Golly Geeze I'm that far behind LOL 😄 That looks really good in the daylight but being 2wd it's definitely hard to control even with traction stability management 💯 Nice Run though and the upgrades to the shocks has to help 😎👍👍 HFLPRCing

    First Off your on the Wrong Surface try smooth Asphalt and look for a new set of Tires preferable with tread also they make alum arms and front knuckles for that as well then retest ps Also look into a thick silicone grease for he damper plates attached to the shock

    I have one solution to help with grip . Foam tyres. The reason I say this is i had an ayk 1/12 pan car. It had massive grip on asphalt.
    And the tyres never wore out. Thing i do notice is the ground you're on is rough so may work with foam tyres or maybe like a hpi onroad tyres with tread pattern..

    • @tmmtmm
      @tmmtmm 5 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Sounded like the chassis was dragging on the ground and/or stones were getting between it and the road. That would unsettle it for sure. More ride height required. Also Tamiya rubber tyres are particularly poor unless the road is 35*C+

    • @AugustusMcMillan
      @AugustusMcMillan 5 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@tmmtmm could actually be the body hitting the ground too. he didn't trim the front. ive had that issues with low bodies. can only run it on the smoothest of surfaces.
