Oh, yes. I remember Albertsons vividly. They used to have stores in Omaha and the rest of Nebraska. I wish they still did. It was my favorite grocery store.
Albertson’s i’ve heard of before but never been in one before.I live on the east coast and have never seen one,and believe none are located here.Great video!.😎
We had them in South Florida back in the 70s and 80s, years ago they use to be called Skaggs Albertsons then changed it as time went by.
There was an Albertson's nearby in Garden Grove. We didn't got there often, my mom preferred Lucky's. Even though Albertson's is still around, that one isn't.
We had Meijer, Kmart (for what amount they had) and Save A Lot.
i still shop at Albertsons, there is a store near my house, i love that place
I shop there occasionally but they can be really expensive.
In Arizona there’s still a good amount of them.

We have plenty of Albertsons in Baton Rouge Louisiana and on the outskirt cities as well
that's good, there are only a few left where I live.
There used to be tons of Albertsons supermarket locations here in Omaha.
There are only a few near me now. They have been bought out by Krogers and will probably be phased out.

I remember going to Albertsons in Daytona Beach, FL: with my father and Smiling Ted Renshaw in 1988.

There are 27 of them here in Vegas! I remember Alpha beta as a kid in CA & also Safeway & Lucky
Safeway and Lucky are up in Northern Calfornia. There only a few Albertsons here. Thanks for watching my friend.
There used to be alpha beta locations in Lawndale and Gardena a long time ago. There were a lot of Albertsons locations that went out of business in Torrance and Hawthorne. There’s a Carson location that’s going out of business.

I honestly thought they were gone. Mainly from my experiences with them in FL. It was very surprising to find out that they acquired other companies like Randalls, Safeway and A&P. I guess Publix and Winn Dixie were just more popular in FL.
Most are gone but there are a few left.
Safeway bought Albertsons Companies. not the other way around.

They are in more north western states
Thank you for the observation and information. The reason they lost so much business in Central Texas to have closure of store in that area was due to H.E.B being more competitively pricing on the food products. I have found that in Columbia Tennessee there is a Piggly iggly that is competitive in food pricing more so than Publix in that area. Just giving you a reply. Have a nice day.
I,live in Detroit,Michigan. There,has been news about Albertsons and Kroger are going to merge with each other.
I believe that it is in the process right now.
Seen a couple of Albertsons stores nowadays, but most of them are long gone. A pity - I remember them being better than what we are left with these days. They always had something I would buy there that I didn't see much at Vons/Safeway or Ralph's.

I stand corrected, the former Albertsons is now a Publix on Commercial Blvd in Ft Lauderdale
The one I remember was off Oakland Park Blvd across from Inverrary, west of the turnpike. Years ago it turned into a church.
I loved this store, I don't know why they went out of business in my town!
Pretty soon more will close since they just got bought out by Krogers
