I'm glad to see a review of this figure, I've been tempted to pick it up as a holdover until we get a proper Goten figure. That's really impressive articulation for such a small figure.
It’s wild!
Lets be real, this figure is the perfect template for SH figuarts to make a Kid Goten figure and possibly a Kid trunks too. Long sleeves for Goten and a slight colour pallete change to the body. A new kid trunks headsculpt, slightly different boots and sleeveless arms, not undershirt on the uppertorso and colour pallete change.
Yeah, it would be crazy for them to not make those two after all this time. But I’m also not going to hold my breath haha

I think Toriyama brought back the Nyoibo because of nostalgia. I really want people to forget what does and doesn't makes sense to the show and just have a good time with the humor and fun writing. So far I have been having a great time watching Daima even though it doesn't make any sense for the continuity of any of the 3 timelines (Z, Super, and GT). The animation looks great every episode so far and the writing is pretty okay.

They could just have a new Protagonist. If they wanted a Team of Kids, I'm still scratching my head as to why Goten, Trunks, Bulla and Marron couldn't have been the main characters. Or Uub, finally bring him into the picture. I'm personally tired of Goku and wish he would retire or become a mentor character.

I'm five episodes into Daima, I think its pretty good, plenty of comedy and the demon world feels like something that fits with classic dragonball with a tyrannical king, monsters, thugs, and wild gadgets. It gets less predictable after the first episode. Though the intro seems to spoil some things.
Very interested in this kid goku. You would not think a figure this small would be that articulated. Its arguably more impressive than an Adult Goku. Plus the power pole is a nice throwback.

Regarding the knee articulation, I'm surprised they haven't attempted a method similar to how FigureRise handle the knees.

I was definitely concerned when I saw how small this was. I thought we were going to have a repeat of Super Hero Pan, but it looks like they’ve improved their work for smaller scale figures like this.

I never heard of this Dragonball cartoon till now. If I watch it, it will be when all the episodes is season one drop. Bc if I like a show, I don't want to wait for the next episode. Especially a two part episode or mini series episodes. Your cat is cute. It still bogles my mind, that some ppl are so cruel to hurt animals.

@patrickmcgavin2245 Dragonball Daima chronically is after Dragonball Z. If you want to get into it in order, it would be Dragonball > Dragonball Z > Dragonball Daima > Dragonball Super > Dragonball GT. Of course, you don't have to, but it's nice to have all the context! Happy to see a potential new Dragonball fan. ✌️

@Keebsmcbeebs Nope. Before Daima came out, GT was originally after Z. You could watch them in any order if you just want action though. For story, go by order.
But for GT, you can watch it directly after Dragonball and Dragonball Z if you want to see it ASAP. You won't miss out on Super and Daima since those series came out way after GT if you decide to watch them later.
