I'd love to go on all those lovely 'walks' that lady on the telly does with one of these!I'm too scared of falling out of my manual wheelchair, even when someone is pushing me, so I hardly ever go out, but with this, I could do anything I wanted!
@@sweetnawesome23 If you're in UK you can rent them at many places, the independence of powered mobility aids is amazing when struggle with a manual chair
You can hire Trampers at several National Trust properties now in the UK - check out Joyce's Tramper trips at Malham Tarn - th-cam.com/video/Gzyiz6pSH_E/w-d-xo.html and Brimham Rocks - th-cam.com/video/3FBRMUoLebY/w-d-xo.html
We hired one from Ladybower for my old mam quite a few years ago she manged to take it all the way round the top dam. The amount of encouragement she got from walers and cyclists was absolutely brilliant. It was well wrth paying for the 4 hours that it took to complete the loop.
Brilliant, sounds like a real expedition! It was Joyce's first time on a Tramper and she has taken some real adventures on them since, she loves them! Thanks for commenting 😊
I am moroccan and i am handicapped how mach i need scootmobiel drive and thank you(je suis marocaine et je suis handicappée combiee jai besoin du scootmobiel drive et merci)
Hi Grace, I don't know where in the world you live but search online for Tramper mobility scooter and see if there are any suppliers in your area. I wish you luck in tracking one down. They are brilliant scooters. Thanks for watching! 😀
All these promotion vids show their products on fine sunny days ,what about when it's raining hard without cover it's no joke even if you can get around to putting on weather proof clothing , see how you get on driving your cars without a roof . Drive do not make a canopy to fit my £2600 Royale 3 scooter they want £6000 for their Sport model with a hard canopy but you still get wet as they have no side protection fitted .
Hi Derek, this isn't a promotional video for a company it's just a family outing that Joyce took which we filmed for fun. It was her first time on a Tramper. We were very lucky with the weather though I'll give you that! Especially considering it was February. 😃 We've been on four Tramper days out so far (we hire the Trampers as Joyce does not have a mobility scooter of her own) and every time has been sunny. One of these days we'll find it rains and then guess what will happen. One of us will be jogging alongside Joyce with a brolly to keep off the rain!! I agree though that it would be great if the manufacturers produced affordable canopies for added protection in bad weather conditions. I wish you luck in your search for one. Thank you for watching and commenting.
Hi James Thanks for your comment. Joyce was not testing the Tramper for anyone but purely enjoying a lovely day out to celebrate her birthday with her family. She has used Trampers in more challenging conditions which you can see if you watch some of the other videos on this channel. But she is also extremely happy that Trampers are made available for her to hire on paths such as these at Ladybower Reservoir so that she can enjoy exploring outdoor environments that would otherwise not be accessible to her. I hope that you will find other videos showing the Tramper in use in more challenging outdoor conditions that you find helpful. Thanks for watching!
Seriously we didn't want to hand it back! The two hours just flew by! 😃
Where would you take a Tramper for two hours if you could...?
