Hey guys, have you been inspired by the style of intro in my recent episode with Dubov and decided to do a similar style of intro? If so, I am extremely flattered! BTW, great content, as usual, keep it up!
I wish more people would discuss how another main reasons Hans isn't invited to more events is because of his unbelievably disagreeable character. He speaks very critically of everyone else while painting himself the victim and the truth may be as simple as nobody wants to deal or interact with him.
I still don't understand how Kramnik, who think's online chess cheating is the most heinous crime, can team up with Neimann, an admitted and unapologetic cheater...
Because Kramnik's fake. The real reason of his actions is jealousy and his poor personal characteristics. He's very easily irritated by losses. He's getting angry and also he's very jealous. One can easily tell that there's nothing rational in his accusations against Hikaru for instance, it's just he doesn't like Hikaru. And he's getting angry to everybody who can play faster than him. Also remember his playing career how delusional he always was evaluating his position when he's like always better according to himself. That's also part of the personal characteristics. He just can't stand somebody being better than him. So, Hans is very suitable companion for him - also somebody angry to everybody lol. And btw, I really don't exclude that Kramnik actually could have cheated against Topalov.
The fact that most of you in the comments don’t realize these guys are just shooting shit for fun and not actually buying into the whole chess mafia…hilarious. It’s really not that serious. Great podcast boys!
Someone who became a GM at the age of 17 definitely knew what fair play is at the age of 16. In the world as a whole 16 is not much, but in chess that is a player with a high level of experience. Being 16 is no excuse.
I would say that the “chess mafia” was a group of people that understand how content creation works and have helped chess grow. Anything else is speculation and jelously with baseless acussations…

It's a point in the Gustav Adolfs square, right near the statue. It's sold by the Swedish fashion chain H&M, whose headquarters is about 700 meters away from that point.
@@ifrmin5021 But the H&M building is more than 700 meters away from that precise point, so I don't understand why they use those exact coordinates instead of the coordinates for H&M itself. That point is actually in Gustav Adolfs torg, right near the statue.
Hans has been to what, 4 or 5 invitationals this year where he's won $30k for first place. He's the most chess mafia of the chess mafias. Only one other person got invites each tournament lol
Chess Mafia must be the least intimidating mafia family I ever heard of Just a group full of nerds :). Maybe the Botez cartell is scary and the Nakamura Clan XD
Always love hearing and seeing you, guys. Cristi, you really look like mafia in that commercial with the glasses on. :)) Fabi charming as ever, like a true calm mafia. :D
In his recent episode with Mustreader, Dubov mentioned that Fabi is the least talented out of the top 20 chess players. Would love to hear Fabi's thoughts on this.
I'm ready to see a James Bond movie with Anish as Bond and Fabi as Blofeld. But, they spend most of the movie playing chess and petting the cat. The movie could be called Resign Another Day. Danny Rensch is the secret mastermind behind it all.
I think Fabi's wrong when he keeps saying that in any other sport Hans would have been banned. Lots and lots of sports with examples of players who repeatedly get caught cheating and still are somehow able to play. There's often a fine or suspension, then it's back to business as usual
In other sports if you get caught cheating you get a timed penalty. For instance in tennis romanian player got caught with some cold medicine that contained some forbidden substances. She got 2 years I believe. In team sports I would imagine is different cause teams might not be ok with a known cheater in the squad even if the suspension lapses
Fabi looks very relaxed and sincere. Cristian on the other hand looks extremely tense and nervous. Like he cant stop thinking about what to say and what not to say or if he is going to get in trouble if he agrees with things Fabiano is saying.
Steroid users get to return to their sports. Not sure what Fabi is talking about when he says other sports wouldn't tolerate cheating as much as chess.
It depends on what sport it is I guess, some have lesser suspensions, other have it much longer. Soccer for example has suspended one of its biggest stars for 4 years for PEDs, no professional play or training at any level which is basically the end of their career
You Can't Fight The Chess Mafia With A Weak Opening Repertoire, Level Up At chessbook.com/csquared And Become The Ultimate Opening Boss!
I didn’t expect this camera angle of Fabi.. truly a mafia
Italian name checks out.
Fabi is kinda looking like a mafia don 😜🤣. With his cool cat ( a hairless cat would have been even better) and even cooler attitude 😂
He's Italian afterall
Fabi once took my knight, the next morning I found the horse lying next to me in bed.
@@aviary__ You are lucky. Fabi once took my horse, and the next morning I found myself lying in the bed. I'm in hiding ever since. Terrifying.
@@gffg387He knows his mafia not gonna lie.
😂😂😂😂
You made it half an hour without any Fabi Italian-American mafia jokes?
You never admit to this thing of ours...
because you dont joke with mafia Boss haha
Chris is too scared of Don Fabiano.
We all know that GM stands for Grand Mafia, and all the super GMs are secretly working against Hans and Kramnik.
🤣🤣
So I didn’t hallucinate the previous Chess Mafia video, right?
[redacted]
If the chess world was a mafia, they would have never let a nice Italian boy lose to that insufferable Scandinavian.
fuggetaboutit,
Like this comment if you're in the chess mafia (the likes will be inspected by the FBI in association with Hans and Kramnik)
The chess mafia can't stop the C-squared podcast.
(Because they are part of the mafia.)
Nice podcast you have here. It would be a shame if something happened to it...
They had a longer video about this a few days ago but took it down...wonder why
Ahh its back
Love that fabi has a new angle every video with adds intrigue to it😍😍
Alice Lee runs the whole mafia
😂😂😂
Fabi's dry humor is top notch 😂
Everybody who also wants to see a Q&A upvote! (I really wanna see one myself sooooooo...)
Fabi's an Italiano, that's mafia by default.
Hey guys, have you been inspired by the style of intro in my recent episode with Dubov and decided to do a similar style of intro? If so, I am extremely flattered! BTW, great content, as usual, keep it up!
I noticed that! I remembered your latest episode with Dubov when I saw their intro lol
There has always been a chess mafia, ask to Valeri Salov
I knew it, chess is the new mafia... with all those pawns, horses, sicilian here, sicilian there...
I wish more people would discuss how another main reasons Hans isn't invited to more events is because of his unbelievably disagreeable character. He speaks very critically of everyone else while painting himself the victim and the truth may be as simple as nobody wants to deal or interact with him.
amazing podcast! could you try and fix the annoying weak buzzing sound in the background? its not very distracting but would be nicer if its removed
Tuxedo cat fits into the Mafia narrative perfectly.

@@edddo4314 Yeah, I also think it's a possibility that he might have cheated against Topalov. It would certainly explain his paranoia about cheaters.
fabi please get a better mic. I love the content it's just harder to understand you with that mic
Don't know what you're talking about. I understood every word without headphones while doing something else.
@@superneenjaa718 Get your ears checked?
I agree, the speech was difficult to make out without subtitles due to the lower quality audio.
Cristian obviously can't speak about Fabi's involvement with the chess mafia because he knows they will send Canty to bust his kneecaps.

idk why i wasnt following this before but you're a great commentary duo for chess, definitely will be a regular listener
Fabi's shirt: I think it's The Royal Palace in Sweden.
It's a point in the Gustav Adolfs square, right near the statue. It's sold by the Swedish fashion chain H&M, whose headquarters is about 700 meters away from that point.
Christian really like suing, dude is a lawyer cosplaying as a "chess" commentator. I know more chess than him.
Are you telling me people with power and money have a bigger influence on the world? What a profound realization.
Fabi is sponsored by Stockholm... :)
Christian one of the chess mafia😂😂😂.
For a second I thought he was going to say that "today's episode is sponsored by chess mafia"
Why does Fabi's sidekick only kick Hans when he's down?
I’m proper distracted because all I keep thinking about is where could the coordinates on Fabi’s hoodie could possibly lead?😭
Stockholm- near H&M headquarters
@@ifrmin5021 thanks I was never gonna look that up

There is a buzzing, ringing sound in the background.
Is it just me or do these pods quite often have a continuous high pitch humm?
They do
Oh, Don Fabiano gonna just deny it 😆
Throw or we won’t invite you again
Levy is the biggest culprit of all in this, because he amplifies the BS. He's like the head of the propaganda in chess.
Mafi Caruana
Hans has been to what, 4 or 5 invitationals this year where he's won $30k for first place.

I would say instead look at Arjun. The guy quietly paved his way to the top. He wasn't invited but kept playing in Opens and now he got sponsors
I'm ready to see a James Bond movie with Anish as Bond and Fabi as Blofeld. But, they spend most of the movie playing chess and petting the cat. The movie could be called Resign Another Day. Danny Rensch is the secret mastermind behind it all.

Next an episode on the Hikaru cult. Creepier than Heaven's Gate.
Nice podcast you've got there. Would be a shame if anything were to happen to it...
Caruana always has the most objective opinion about stuff compared to others(elites)
Levy really looks like the main character of eastern promises played by viggo mortensen
"Stroke the cat" sounds like a euphemism!
maybe once with russia. eg botvinnik rules for wcc replays. but not now.
Blowfeld was the leader of Spectre, Spectre was the organization of allied criminals who came together in attempt to control or rule the world.
Can you link your shirt? I wanna buy that exact shirt. Such nice shirts are hard to find :))
ATP we might get a podcast with Fabi directly recording from the Bathroom
I would love to see a Hans kramnik team in the next team championship
Bro, all of this coming an Italian American... Irony of our lives
an Italian and a Romanian talk about the mafia.. what's more concerning?
how is noone talking about fabis rabbit?
So right about " in any other sport if you cheat your gone , no keeping names secret "
Fabiano resembling junior Soprano speaks volume of chess mafia
after the horse runs away from b7, I cant wait to play Ne2
Chessbase is at the top they have been extorting the chess community for years😂
You know if they are mafia they will never say pizza with pineapple
"I think its time to negotiate your mafia contract" 😂😂
so outcome of discussion is that Kramnik is Hans-es new cat?
2:40 Not Christian with the shades 😂 Congrats on the sponsorship!

Fabi looking like the Mayor of Chess Town.
What about the Russian chess poisoning seems like mafia.
The Chess Mafia is real
Don Fabiano is not IN the mafia, he IS the mafia.

I love the indulgence in the conspiracy theory 😂😂 now HANS is in the mafia 🤣🤣 when will it end?!?! LMAO
These guys are genius, making people actually believe they’re worried about some fantastical chess mafia.
That was deep. Now ething is clear
Don Fabiano is a genuine padrino of chess
Fabi petting his cat like a mob boss
There are more layers to this than Layer Cake.
People will take this too seriously for sure and spin senseless drama 🤣 100 percent
