KAWAR KALIBRIDGE |TRUCK DRIVER RESCUED |Alvewada Gabit Samaj

Immense proud to say my Alvewada friends & fisherman youths of Kodibag, Karwar - Karan Navge, Satish Chopdekar, Kushali Morje, Sudesh Sarang, Laxmikant Mehta,Dilip Mehta, Nagesh, Suraj Sarang saved the life of a 37-year-old truck driver of Tamil Nadu. He was rescued as the truck he was driving was swept away following the collapse of the bridge across the Kali River at Karwar in Karnataka’s Uttara Kannada district around 1am on Wednesday. Balu Murugan, the driver, managed to break the windshield of the truck, climbed onto it and caught the attention of the fishing youths for help. The brave youths jumped to action in the dark when they the saw the man . Their timely heroic efforts and swift action to save the man's life made all Karwarians proud and we share our gratitude towards the youths.
