Czech Ambassador Interview with Taber Times 2021

The Town was proud to welcome Borek Lizec, Ambassador of the Embassy of the Czech Republic in Ottawa in July. Mayor Prokop, Deputy Mayor Strojwas and Interim CAOs John Orwa and Gary Scherer were pleased to meet with the Ambassador and his family to discuss the history of Czech ancestry in the Taber region and to see some of the sites around the community connected to the same.
