Capers are the edible flower buds of the Capparis spinosa plant. They belong to the Capparaceae family. These buds are harvested before they bloom.
Stock should be optional. I personally don't use it, since it's generally NOT used by Italian cooks!

I’ve made this both professionally and at home and I never used any chicken stock. Simmering chicken breast in stock can toughen the meat. And besides why bread it and sauté it in the lemon butter and capers
Capers are very salty and some chefs will rinse them off several times before using. The butter should be unsalted if you’re not rinsing the capers. Btw I’m a retired chef and mentor of my daughter who eats capers from the jar. Note to your viewers DONT use Hollander House cooking wine or sherry!!! It’s a heart attack waiting to happen because it’s loaded with sodium. Please use wine you normally would drink

I'm shocked this isn't one of the minute or less videos that gets posted. Anything under 10 minutes I don't watch. A lot of the recipes they make it harder than using all ready prep stuff . That's all ready to use, like dice onions . Other cooking videos use prepared or prep packaging onions. Canned meat is faster. Using a hand mixer to shred chicken, then doing with 2 forks.
