This Dante acts a lot more like DMC 1 Dante than DMC 2 Dante It would've been cool to get Drew Coombs or Matthew Kaminsky back as I feel like they would've fit this version of Dante instead of Reubon Langdon, but Reubon does an alright job here
I doubt Capcom will hire Drew Coombs or Matthew Kaminsky back. If Capcom didn't hire either of them in future DMC games. What you think Capcom will hire back Matthew Kaminsky. Capcom went come voice acting they will hire you ones do some voice lines. But that they will pay voice actor and never hire that voice actor again.
No "let's rock!" But it was replaced with "it's showtime!" Still good but would prefer "let's rock!" The dialouge is pretty similar to the original, but it's been rewrite a bit. You get it done pretty quick, he wasn't able to showcase much.
Loving that this game uses the DMC2 design, its always been my favorite looks for him. DMC2 hardly gets any love not even in dmc5 which takes place after dmc2 in the timeline. Seeing that design with his dmc3/4/5 voice actor is a bit startling but super fitting.
Ok I think I worried about nothing I just did the first part when he chased you to begin with. If he catches you after you have pushed all 3 switches will it reset the floor?
I would ask why he doesn't use his dt but come if he did he would one shot the demi fiend especially since it would be the DMX 2 dt and oh God I just imagined if dante used the Majin form in the fight

Definitely would've loved a better timed "LETS ROCK!" When he twirls Ebony and Ivory, not like they really matched the lip flaps anyway.
Remember that in the original script it was always "Showtime!". It looks like the "Let's Rock!" something that the location team came up with.
I died at the part where the Demi-Fiend went to another floor just to see Dante pop up from around the corner on the other side of the hallway 😂

You have to restart the entire puzzle.
He'll perform his Stinger move (which is a one hit KO) to one of your chars. If you survive he'll restart the puzzle.
