We don't know the reason Cristiano Jnr doesn't know his mother but what we do know is that Cristiano absolutely dotes on his son. He gives him everything he needs and it seems that Cristiano Jnr is growing up to be a fine young man, so I don't think it matters that he doesn't have his mother in his life. He has a very loving father and has the love and support of Cristiano's family - he doesn't need anyone else.

Your step mom can be your real mom for you. It is up to the kid to see if he wants to see his "biological mom." I've had my mom leave me when my dad was going through financial times and having to live in my grandmas house because of my dad not being able to have the house we once had. My grandpa would be drunk all the time and my grandma would be the only one there for my siblings and I. Ever since my step mom entered my life, I am who I am and is happy they I am. This is why it isn't a problem to not know your biological mom. For me though, sometimes not for others.

Feel sad for this kid and his mother. Yes, many people grow up without a mom or dad, but in many cases they still get to see/know that parent. Many parents let their kids see the divorced parent. Even if their spouses had died, they would let their kids know what kind of a person the deceased parent was. I think Mr.Ronaldo should let his son know and see his mother.

I just feel a little sad for him 'cause I still think motherhood is important in early stages of a child's upbringing. If I were him, I would wanna know who my mom is, even if I can't see her, it would still be great to just know who she is.

I do not agree with Ronaldo's answer on this and I think he should have prepared himself with a better answer to this question. He does not look good on this instance and maybe he just gave that answer because the mother has agreed to it. I think the mother waived her rights to her son in exchange for something more gratifying than the love and relationship with her son. Mother bares the highest pain in her life while giving birth and mother and father has also right to meet his child. If I was in junior's situation I have requested ronaldo to meet mother. Actually...a son’s development after he is no longer a baby- from 4-5 years old and onwards, the mother of a son actually gets in the way of his development the more controlling she is.
The more a mother refrains her son or controls her son in that age, the more she gets in the way of his development and him as an adolescent he formulates an inner crictic that gets in the way of his natural progression & development.
Mothers tend to get in the way of their son’s development and experiential learning -the more they interfere restricted and control his life in this age.
