I'm Gold Prospecting In South Carolina. Welcome back to another adventure on my channel. Today we are in search of bedrock through out a few locations in the mountains of South Carolina, as well as along a few locations along the Carolina slate belt. These areas are home to some of the earliest lode gold mines and placer deposits, existing during the Carolina Gold Rush, late 18th century. This is a pure prospecting adventure as it is unknown what type of land we will run into and whether or not access will be allowed! I hope you enjoy this video and many more to come!

I live in upstate SC Pickens county and I have found gold just outside city limits , in quarts rocks, by accident, we put big rocks in fire and heated them up and dropped them in a bucket of water , they crumbled up and we found the gold in there

I live in Charleston and I went up to the Haile Gold mine a few months back and panned right off the little creek there that runs out of the mine and found all kinds of small stuff there. But I’m looking for somewhere else. Was planning on going next weekend if you got any tips.
