The guy who found gold in 1799 was walking along a stream and saw a yellow rock and took it home weighing 22lbs. He used it as a door stop for years until someone told him it’s gold.
Better being lucky than smart.
7lbs
Your are right about the wright brothers from ohio but the first flight was in the Carolina's if you look it up
I know a place in NC that has quarts gold... ive actually panned a few flakes as a kid...
Because only Dave Turin can find the gold...right.
First gold rush was in North Carolina 😮
My brother sluced gold there when gold rush first came out. Tellico river the banks are loaded
Sure they are
The Appalachian mountains are loaded with quartz and with white quartz you find gold I did some gold mining with my dad when I was you back in early 80s and we were helping this old guy had to be in his 70s and he taught us stuff you can't learn in a book it was pretty cool wish we would have stayed cause old man sold his property and retired and new owners found an seam that was apparently loaded and made them very rich
I own around 100 acres in York SC, on the state border with Charlotte NC. I've got a natural spring in the property, have found lots of quartz and never found gold. I'd definitely like to see how to look for some of these rare "gems" around the property.
Yellow quartz is quartz with gold attached to it. Enough to tint the quartz yellow, but rarely enough to make immediate money from. Often it needs to mined in mass quantities, crushed, processed, and leeched. Stuff like this is near impossible
The first gold dollar was mined in your area.
I love York..
I worked in fort mill for 12 months
Great sir!
I have a bunch of that. From northern cali... !
Hvala.
Where does one sell this?
This is the same guy who sold his gold mine to his crew in about 2022 for 1 million dollars. I’m pretty sure I’m right
Dave Turin exactly is his name
@@dennisjamieson3328The shroud of Turin.
That's either a really good man who knows the value of having enough to not worry alongside the time to use it. Or a really scummy man who tapped the spot dry and wanted one last paycheck 🤣🤣 (Hope it's the former)
dave wound u help me find some gold ,i live in union mills in nc?
0:18 the Wright Brothers were from Ohio.
are you gonna start to dig up the beautiful countryside Dave?
Oh stop it are you aware of how much earth there is?
Small scale mining has 0 impact on the earth. I'd be more worried about all the garbage scattered around the world from civilization rather than Small scale miners making a living.
i have a goldfish at home🤭
Hi brother ❤❤
The first US gold rush, really?
Virginia had the first gold claim in the United States.
