This car is the King of the last real Packards. Who ever restored this example knew the automobiles completely. This one looks correct in every way and pristine as well.
As a broke college student, about 1982, I bought an old Packard for $100.00 with the hope of fixing it up. A friend and I could not get it started, about a year later sold it to a junk yard for $25.00? 1955 Packard Deluxe, maybe. Anyway, thanks for making and sharing this video.
Beautiful car

ABSOLUTELY GORGEOUS
earlier hubcaps were better, they said Packard on them.. that trunk latch is so cool. I am getting my 56 tomorrow. Seriously, a 3 hour drive away.

STATELY
Looks heavy
Beautiful Patrician and rare color. Do you know what Packard called that color?
It is called 'Norwegian Forrest Poly'.
Paint code "D"..Norwegian Forest Metallic. R-M laquer
My dad had a 1948,I do not remember, but my uncle said it gave him a lot of trouble!
I think the color is Norwegian Green.
Beautiful Chaika.
The other way around, the Chaika is a vaguely interpreted Packard
Breaks your Heart to think how magnificent everything was back then . Now so TRASHY !
Did they sell any of those to Democrats?
