Minecraft by Stephen and Mal is the real deal....! Can't wait for 1.8. Saw a little bit on the GamesCom in Köln (Cologne) here in germany. The NPC Villages are looking great, so there is a lot of content coming for letsplays! Yeeeeehaaaaw!
@Mariobrosfan228 It's been suggested quite a bit and is certainly a possibility. We have a ton of games already on our to-do list, though, so it might be a while.
Enemies can leak in from portals into the main world. It's always advisable to keep your portals enclosed lest you desire a Ghast to come and burn your house down, not that that's possible with the material you're using for your walls.
@GoldenChikorita Which aspect? If it's the first element, it's not false because it has happened to me on occasion, though that might've been before a bug fix I don't know about that changed this.

@Afroassassainx 1.8 is not out yet, no. There is no official release date, but we're hoping for a September release.

It might not be implemented in 1.7, but nowadays, there are blazes, castles and chests to be found in the nether
