Man, to me GNR were the last real industry "rockstar" band. They mixed music with image, radio/tv airplay, sells...and yes, "bad" publicity tied to bad behavior😁

Cool, thanks for watching, and commenting! There are three Facebook pages I know that sell this stuff, though I don't know how much stuff they'll have specifically from the concert. 1. Necrosis. 2. Ghoules Metal Products. 3. Nightmare Metal Store. There is also a Facebook group called Catalogo de Nightmare Metal Store en Linea (or something similar) that posts regular photo updates (I've seen a few GnR shirts from the show on their page this week). I think they all ship internationally, and I can personally vouch for Necrosis and Ghoules (though I'm sure Nightmare is equally trustworthy). Dia de Muertos is my favourite day if the year, enjoy Oaxaca!

Man, I always wonder about (and talked about this in the bootleg merch video I did when I saw GnR in Merida two weeks ago) what they do with all the merch when the show is over. I mean, yeah, they can sell some of it in markets or online, but as you saw, it's a TON of stuff. I was just making plans the other day for my annual Dia de Muertos trip! This will be my 17th consecutive year. It's a neighbourhood in my city that has the second largest Dia de Muertos celebration in the country. Expect a video on Wednesday!

Are there rumours about them playing Hell & Heaven? If so, I haven't heard. GnR and Motley Crue each made one of my favourite albums ever, so that's pretty equal. And Motley Crue has a much bigger catalogue than GnR, which also means more crap (they have two albums that are completely awful). GnR didn't do much for me after Appetite For Destruction, but overall, I'd say I like them better out of the two.

La verdad NO el lugar esta horrible, la entrada es muy larga y es desde la plaza de toros de al lado, no hay agua para los baños ni siquiera gel para lavarse las manos, ni salidas de emergencia, la acustica es mala y al menos ese concierto estuvo muy mal organizado nada que ver con el foro sol y la arena ciudad de Mexico, el concierto de rammstein fue genial desde cualquier punto, yo no pienso volver a ir si se hace algo en ese lugar
What’s your take on an economy based entirely on counterfeit products??? Like what does it say about that particular society? Pros and cons of wearing stolen brands, trademark logos, etc.
Ah, not a big deal. But, here's my take: Guns N' Roses are multi-millionaires, and have been for decades. And they're getting richer with every show, because the cheapest ticket to this show was double the price of any concert I've been to before. And good for them, they deserve to he rich. But, I would rather give my money to people who need it. Mexico is (generally speaking) a poor country. Millions of people have nothing, or very little. I would rather give my money to people like that, who are selling bootleg merch, who probably sell it on the side from their job where they work 10 or 12 hours a day, for very little pay. People who live hand-to-mouth, and can barely get by. The local economy, when a production like this comes through, is a rare golden opportunity for these people. They need it more than Axl Rose (and that's nothing against Axl at all). Not to mention, they have infinitely more things for sale, and the quality is excellent, sometimes better than the official merch.
@@danbowskimexico Usually the people who sell merchandise from the bands of rock are people who dedicate themselves to that, or they are clothing merchants, and let me tell you not all people in general, as you say, are poor in the CDMX, those merchants who sell merchandise from ' 'Contraband' is people who work and have economic resources, not just anyone who puts up or invests in a clothing and accessories stand, in addition to paying the tax or fee that is charged there.
