- Here we have this years battle of the kings 2020 entry for Sycamore Harley-Davidson Called 'El Ganador' Which translates to 'The Winner' in spanish.
Todd from Sycamore Harley-Davidson talks you through how this bike came about and what inspired us to go for this design. We go into detail on the parts we used and the fabrication that we had to do to the bike to achieve this look.

Based on a 1200 Roadster
Should had added a big bore kit such as hammer performance 120hp 1275 if there was unlimited budget
I love the paint, but the final finish was orange peely as hell esp on the tank in that one shot. Im a painter myself, and after doing all that art work I would never skip the last steps and flatten sand it and buff it out to perfection. They look so much better with no peal
I thought I was the only one who noticed that. That’s not orange peel…that’s melon peel with all those craters.
Cool build , some stuff was just cheesy and boring. Disappointed with having a unlimited money budget.

Hi Andy. The paint artist is called sam Hubbard from ap customs based in Uppingham. Also get in contact with sycamore Harley Davidson, they have some fantastic mechanics who build these bikes and could easily sort that for you.
MrDarcy & the Ol'Man Ive just spoke to Luke at Sycamore HD as I’ve purchased a few items from them over there via eBay. Sadly he says he doesn’t know any mechanics available atm. I’m looking up Sam as we speak.
Andy R you wont get a mechanic during the lockdown bud but once it’s over the mechanics will be back at work. Sam is also closed during the lockdown but will be back and running after it’s over
Lovely bike. Rear indicators are a bad choice though. Club Style is all about day to day rideable practical style the moment you put luggage on there they’ll be obscured. Should have gone for the laydown plate with built in led lights instead

The mechanic had to use a small spacer on the top triple tree to be able to use the risers

What’s the benefit to running a chain over a belt
Only benefit is you can change the sprockets easily to change the ‘gearing.’ More for looks really. Otherwise, a belt can easily do 40,000 miles but a chain only 10,000.

If you can find the point where everything smooths out on the highway it will run like a dream. For my iron 1200 that is an indicated 80mph.

Beautiful machine! I have an 05 XL883L Superlow with a custom Dr. Pepper red paint job, Thunder Header exhaust, cam, club style fairing and low drag bars. Great bike. I get compliments on it everywhere I go. Even from the bagger and Dyna guys.

MrDarcy & the Ol'Man we ever find out what brand fairing that is? I’m across the pond in Las Vegas.
It would be if it had low drag bars, rearsets (or forward controls), XLCR tank, different air cleaner, better wheels, an aluminum swingarm and a different paintjob. Seriously that bikini fairing with those bars looks ape hangers on a GSXR. Bikes should have a cohesive "theme". This one doesn't seem to have that.
In this case, we just did the film for the bike builder, but I'm sure they will read your points bro!
Read up on Club Style. This bike has a very cohesive theme, you just don't know it!

Good idea, badly executed. Whatsup with the placement of those rear indicators? Tach should be in front of eye sight, not under the tank and hidden like that... damn son. This is a performance style, dont take elements from hipster styles. Unlimited budget and then chose a pair of non branded ebay pegs? The research team should have done a better job. Come on...

FYI, a chain is very much a performance upgrade over a belt. More direct power transfer and less power lost in the transfer of power to the rear wheel. Also, with proper maintenance a chain will outlast a belt. Did looking bike though, I would ride it. Planning on doing a similar build. Just a different color scheme. Also, not sure why you would want it to look more like an FXR for any other reason than being ashamed of it being a sportster. Silly to me
