Does the tailwheel version have a higher landing speed or takeoff run? It looks like the plane sits quite flat and I wasnt sure how much pitch you can get on takeoff or on flare for a 3-point.

How much of a speed gain without the nose gear ?

5+ mph gain (with fairings) is typical with tailwheel configuration.
