Here’s something you should know. One of the greatest things about doing farmers’ walks is you can massively decrease your chances of an injury, compared to a deadlift.
This study compared the biomechanical characteristics of farmers' walks, deadlifts, and unloaded walks in six experienced male strongman athletes performing at 70% of their 1RM deadlift.
The farmers' walk showed significant differences with greater trunk extension, thigh angle, knee flexion, and ankle dorsiflexion at knees passing. It exhibited significantly greater mean vertical and anterior forces compared to the deadlift.
Overall, it suggests that the farmers' lift is a much safer and more effective alternative to the deadlift, generating more anterior-propulsive and vertical force with less stress on the lumbar spine due to a more vertical trunk position. So, you’re good to do this everyday and it will change your life! But what about the benefits?

My father used to feed buckets of cracked wheat to 200hd of cattle every morning starting in mid fall. Increasing the amount of grain every day. By spring melt when it was muddy he was carrying 2 buckets in each hand with each trip becoming 16ft shorter from 120ft and sprint back to the barn for more. He gained 10lbs of muscle each winter and used this yearly conditioning to full advantage by putting in a mile of new fence posts each spring and had forearms bigger than his upper arm along with quads than would shame any body builder. Not bad for a 175lb man in his 60's. I'd burst with pride if I was half the man those old bastards were.

Yeah same, I do my farmers walks near last at gym , they have a separate calisthenic area, so do some minor muscles with cords , maybe some bulgarian squats, or kettle ball RDL/swings , some pylo box jumps ( do my pullups in gym ) , Only have 28 KG max kettlebells in there as opposed to day 50Kg dumbells in the gym , but I'm 59 so that's ok . i start with wide hip opening weighted lunges . Then do the carries head out with 2 28Kg to opposite side and drop one return come back to start with one , then back pick other ,in opposite hand , then return and come back , then walk both . Do one hand to strengthen core stability. Now will incorporate backwards walk as well, if area not too busy, But yeah always finish gym area with a hang , and Calisthenics area with a hang . cycle home as warm down and warm up to gym. Been doing single handed kettlebell carries for a couple of years. One surprising benefit was my bad shoulders. Since the totator cuff helps hold the shoulder girdle together, they have to work isometrically in the carry. I walk .25 miles to the park, then do 4 laps around the park doing swings, shoulder presses, squats and ab leg lifts at the corners. My bad shoulders feel much better when I'm regularly doing these exercises. I use a 50 or 70 lb kettlebell depending on if I've built up to the bigger weight.

I do four carries of about 90 seconds each with two 24kg kettlebells, just to give you an idea. The limiting factor for me is grip.

Depends on how heavy. Two 50 pounders I just walk around the gym
as my last strength training exercise of the day. 73 at 200 pounds.
      Trying to get to 180.

These will not transform your body. I use to carry buckets of concrete almost every day and I never got any bigger, and neither did my co workers who did the same job. Of course, we got stronger, and our traps got a little bigger but none of us ‘transformed’. This is an oversell of a title.

I don’t know how. One of my coworkers used to pour concrete . He is retired now but was in his late (age)50’s at the time.. I was 235 pounds at the time and he grabbed me one day just playing around and I have never felt a human that strong. I felt like a bag of potatoes .

Farmer's walks are awesome movement patterns for rounding out your strength and making it more practical/generalized. It's not effective at changing your physique. I am sure you could program it with some presses, squats, and pull-ups and get a decent general effect for strength and hypertrophy, but if your goal is hypertrophy and low body fat.. use compound barbell work for hypertrophy, and kettlebell flows (ballistics) for time paired a heart rate monitor to train aerobic and anaerobic energy systems on separate sessions.
