    Isn't it harmful for the technologist to stay there with the patient during the scan?? Bcz gamma rays are emitting from the patient..

      Nah, the exposure is not that great. And ofc we already know up to what dose we’re allowed to receive

    What is the level of radiation a patient can get through out this process and how long does it take to get rid of it from lungs.

      The patient receives approx. 10 mCi. The biological half-life is only 30 seconds, so it doesn't stay in your body for very long
