- Sadly all good things must end and this tour is no different but it wouldn't be Heather without a cycling incident and she didn't disappoint us here! Thankfully no breakages but some bad bruises and a hurt pride were evident. Join us for the final 3 days on a peaceful quiet D.A ON A BANK HOLIDAY! with Beds district association.

Hi! We're Rick, Heather & our dog Poppy and we travel in Pearl our Elddis CV20 campervan.
We film the places we visit as our own diary, these videos are meant as a little memento for us but we're happy to share them with you if you want to watch.
We're just an ordinary couple in our 50's filming our adventures with basic equipment so don't expect loads of flash camera action and super editing with great music.
We also film videos of work we have done on our van as well as van reviews for our reference of the next van we might buy. Occasionally there are hints & tips videos too. We do basic site and area reviews including if they’re dog friendly but they’re a guide only based on our opinions which may or may not help you make an informed decision on if you’d like the place.
We do a mix of off grid camping, pub stopovers plus real campsites too, hopefully something for everyone to enjoy!

No official parking that we saw, the Kieder was proper council organised, Scottish areas and borders seem more into it than here.
Hi guys. I originate from Rutland and remember Rutland Water before it was finished. We had relatives living near Uppingham and have cycled right round the water a couple of years ago.. Stay well and stay safe.

Too bad Heather took a fall. Maybe put some training wheels on her bike, so she could get off it easier? I don’t think they make them that size, though. 🧐 Glad she wasn’t hurt bad. See you next time 😊💕

Looks like a nice site - Keilder (Keelder) Water I assume must be deeper? Think that supplies a lot of water in the North East. Poor Heather - awful when you fall - sometimes worse when you stop too isn’t it. Hope it’s all better now Heather.

Ignorant Suffolk woman question but what is DA. You two make me laugh 😂
In the camping and caravan club you are assigned a DA when you join, this is your “District Association” which is based on your postcode (we’re Derbyshire) you can go on meets organised by your or any other DA which are usually cheaper than the standard price (we did a video about it on the channel)
