Thanks for providing a brief and very concise tutorial on the subject. I've looked at many others regarding the same matter, but this is one of the best of the bunch.
Thank you so much for this tutorial! I know this tutorial is not the newest but it helped me a lot to understand layers better and I am actually able to do this properly...finally.
Thank you for actually TALKING your way through this. So many tutorials simply have a wildly jiggling cursor darting around, no explanation, just annoying music and you are left to wonder what the hell they are doing!
Can you share where you got the blue sky jpg that you used for this example? I've found a couple online I like so far, but always nice to have options. Thanks!
The biggest problem with the PS how to videos is that they do things ASSUMING too much. Short cut keys and so forth. I have watched this video a piece at a time for 2 hours trying to make it work and it still doesn't.
Well, if you're taking pictures of a listing, you are usually called to do it the night before. You can't control what the weather will be. So, sometimes you're going to get a white or grey sky.
Having said "Go ahead and click the delete button" You MIGHT have had ther decency to SHOW WHERE it is hidden. : ¬ ( Without which info "we" are stuck with the job 1/2 done. having delete 3 layers in turn with NOT the correct result. I'll have to quit and use somebody who assumes we know nothing about the secret delete key.
By far the most easy yet intriguing tutorials I've ever watched. Kudos!

I'm having a little problem here. Where is the delete button at the 3:20 mark in the video? It is difficult to see what you actually clicked. Thanks.
i am still having the same problem, with where he mentioned delete botton,
Ctrl D for PC or CMD D for Mac. That gets rid of the marching ants.

Why do you even have to put a blue sky in the picture. Just wait for a for a nice day. OH I forgot there is no clean sky anymore with chemtrails.
Chemtrails are sexy
