Fox Blocks Site Cuts

If you run short of corners on your Fox Blocks project you can make corners from straight block. It's not as efficient but it will get the job done. Insulated Concrete Forms or ICF's are in great demand these days and contractors have been showing us new tricks. In this video we will cover cutting your own 90 corners with straight block, creating T-Block out of straight block and cutting tapers into straight block.

Engineered lumber in floor systems rely on the rim joist carrying the load from above. The taper top brings the concrete out far enough for the rim joist to transfer the load from the rim joist to the concrete wall. Fox Blocks has 2 5/8" of insulation so the rim joist would be bearing on the foam. Dimensional lumber (2 x 10 etc.) would not require a taper top because the joists themselves can carry load.

i'm trying to learn more about your products but i will be super honest, every one of your videos are way too long and could be shortened by a great length. i don't have 8 hours of free time to watch all of these, and so most of the people working in the industry

I suspect your wife isn't very happy about you not having enough time. Hire an extra guy.
