I'm glad this game is getting more coverage. Even if this is a sponsered video, just this game getting shown off more makes me happy. I love it and it's the most fun I've had with a game in a while. And the community in my experience is very welcoming and nice towards newer players. I've played the game for about a month now and people have really just been chill and helped me improve.
@@WondR_ It does suck that it won't be free to play. I talked to Cako(the creative director) and he claims he's going the same route as Rocket League did. Where they went pay to play at first and then went free to play a few years later. His reasoning was that since they are a small indie company, it will be hard to stay afloat initially if they went free to play right from the getgo.
@@WondR_ it’s really not a “copy” it’s simply in the same genre. That’s like saying mortal combat is a copy of street fighter. They’re both platform fighters. Rivals has been doing fine for years when for most it’s life span it wasn’t even finished and costed 15 - 20$

I appreciate the cons as I have the same concerns. I think the positive that comes from them is like what you said, they can be fixed. At the end of the day it's really nice to know that the gameplay is actually really good, because Icons didn't have it.
I'm glad you were able to be honest with your video. I agree that the game lacks a lot of the visual polish but the spark mechanic is straight addictive once you get comfortable with it and really shines in its gameplay
It would be cool if they added like "highlight intros" for the victory screen kinda like Overwatch. The graphics is something that can be improved though

To add to the background thing, the characters model blend with the background sometimes, and it become really hard to see the characters in darker stages, it's the same issue with ultimate except instead of darker, it's brighter, this issue seems to exist with other modern fighters like SC6 and GGST. The character color and shading need to pop-out compared to the stages and background.
Fighting games honestly Brawlhalla is still very strong with it being free, easy to pick up, easy to follow, hard to master, and fun to watch pros play. And it’s huge roster of characters.
Hey Macro! Maybe try spacelords, Its a cool free game that doesn't get much attention(mainly because its only available in the microsoft store).maybe you could encuarage more people to play it.
Do hope this game comes to console so those players can enjoy this game and allowing cross play will definitely help if this game has a low player count on pc .
This reminds me a game called brawlhalla a lot Like honestly if u played this for 2 seconds and showed me it I wouldn’t be able to tell the difference if I didn’t play brawlhalla for some time
The rush and spark mechanics just seem like Brawlhalla's dodge and dash... not to mention Brawlhalla has 50+ characters, amazing crossovers, free, and crossplay. Brawlhalla just seems like a better pick
Except combos in Brawlhalla are usually 4-5 hits max and can be dodged. Also rushes can be canceled by attacks and Spark isn't even close to a chase dash. You have many options with Spark such as doing baits, superjumps, using it for movement, etc. Not flaming you tho, you almost got a point, you just probably haven't played it yet.
Why not review bralwhalla now? It's another really good platform fighter wich is gaining a lot of popularity lately, especially in its competitive scene

my favorite character is easily afi and galu, the goofiest characters and not half star baby mode, that and they're satisfying to play as
