I'm pretty new to mopeds, had one (my first) for a few years, but never had a chance to really get into working on it till a few months ago. Just didn't have a place to work on a moped, in Brooklyn NY. Now I have an entire driveway to myself and I'm really beginning to get into it. Thanks for the content. Keep up the good work. בס'ד
I'm not sure what rollers you mean, but the internals are completely stock and unmodified. Only things different are flipped second speed clutch for later shift, some modern shift pucks and Rotella/10w-40 motorcycle oil. ZA's on stock clutches are great! ZA70 should hit the market soon... I'll heading down to DOS this week to box them, build hardware kits and hopefully get them listed. @@tylerm124ah, gotcha. My rollers are solid also. I think it's an optical illusion from the "hex cup" washer rubbing on them. As far as I can tell, they're case hardened.
@schimmelengineering for some reason i was thinking they worked like cvt rollers so lightening them would make it grab at higher rpm but i guess its more like a 1 way bearing.
@@tylerm124 absolutely! Yeah, it's crazy they did a custom one way bearing... Part of me wants to redesign the gear train with off the shelf one way bearing and do straight cut gears. We'll see how the ZA70 does. If it does well, maybe I can do that!

Did you drill out the rollers or can you buy reduced weight rollers? Also, i cannot wait to get my hands on za70 case

@@schimmelengineering the first speed rollers(the 7 tiny cylinders on the first gear). They look like they have holes through them. Mine are solid.
