I hear Ratcliffe power station is or will be decommissioned in the near future ! On another note, I've been fire marshaling at Dore and Totley station and get to see the "GARFIELD" cement train coming through 😂

Well looks like you had an excellent day out on the rails there Mike!! Got some great stuff along there including some excellent fast passes at Chesterfield, a rather pointless GBRf at Swinton and nice catch of the coal and the oil going through Nottingham!! Nice to see the test HST, such a shame that some powercars with mk2s is all the future spotters will know of HSTs
Well it was a lot of miles and a bit costly, but it made the day a bit more interesting Jacob. I must go back and spend more time at Chesterfield and Mexborough next time, ATB Mike.

Yes John I'm told these will be the last coal trains into Radcliffe.
