      @@abealexander7306 I just like the way it has special routes so people can go through/ avoid traffic. That's an incentive for people who think they're too 'big' to take public transit. Less cars = less traffic in the long run. It also makes life easier in general.

    Congrats from Nairobi. We here only talk about BRT but no action. Transportation industry in Nairobi is largely owned and controlled by corrupt cartels who are in government. Talk about conflict of interest and politics. We will never see BRT becoming a reality with the current administration in office.

    African cities badly need trains. Trains are what can carry a lot of people quickly. Elevated or underground, the cities aren't as efficient without trains.

    "Reduction of two thirds or more".
    This sentence does not make any sense.
    It basically says "any reduction including none."

    Speed 50 km/h is definitely not rapid. It's fairer to call it 'basic bus service'.

      @fitawrarifitness6842 5 ปีที่แล้ว +5

      By "rapid" they mean "unrestricted". I can't believe that had to be explained.

    • @salumalriyamy1576
      @salumalriyamy1576 5 ปีที่แล้ว +4

      We who are here in Dar understand the word "rapid" as dedicated road for the buses only.. hence ni queue.. and with that no matter what speed the buses travel at, it will always be perceived as rapid.

    • @tillyahono3723
