Sylvannas' story was in a bad route, so it's almost impressive how much worse they made it. Logically she would get scared of death, soing anything to protect her people, dying of pride, maybe bargaining with the void, maybe with death, perhaps even the fel. Instead they did all that with Garrosh first and Azshara AT THE SAME TIME. It would be cliché for her to just go from hero to villain, but she went from hero to the most insuferable character in relevant lore, with the most egregious powercreeping and a lore that will forever be associated with the worst period in WoW
I didn't even realize how many mounts and items I had from the card game until this video. Lol. My wife and I were buying packs like crazy to get the mounts and items lol.
Another funfact. As paladin healer you could equip 2 of the legendary items at the KelThas fight. The healer weapon AND the tank shield and got use of both perks. I always forget about the legendary mount. i somehow like the concept. But for modern time they would have to realy overcomplicate this mount so not everyone gets it.
As someone who stopped playing back in wrath, I always thought the upset over the buying gold thing was pretty funny. I get it, that’s very play-to-win, but we’re kidding ourselves if we think gold farming hasn’t been around since the very beginning. I never did it, because honestly, what’s the point of playing the game if you’re not going to play the game, but I can’t tell you how many people I played with did it and subsequently lost their account to the farmer because that’s usually what happens when you illegally buy gold. Blizzard made it legal and took away the disadvantage that you’ll probably, you know, lose everything in the process. I personally still don’t get the point and would never use it myself, but of all the things to sell in the store, that one just seemed inevitable and quite frankly stupid not to on blizzard’s part.
Pretty sure you could still get winter spring frost saber on Horde in 2004 🤔once I get Starlink I will look, cause Okanar has that mount- and remember being odd that I could get quests from a NE
I remember getting the "battle chest"from Walmart when I was 12 and it came with classic and tbc. Played for a month and then didn't play until wrath because my mom though spending 15$ a month on a pc game was stupid lmao
I had to skip the first hour.. trying to sleep and hearing about all the mtx and collectors editions woke me up enough to make this comment and skip ahead to the raids lmao
If you ever get mad that china kept getting more and more free shit 53:24 like every player just for playing got a swift spectral tiger in wow tbc classic. Think of it this way. After blizzard lost their license and couldnt have their games in china anymore. Hundreds of thousands. To millions of swift spectral tigers are now permanently dead and no longer in the game.
none of these expansions after lich king would have happened if they used helm of domination to throw all the "restkess undead" into a volcano and then shutter the helm

Shadowlands was the first expansion I bought after it went live. I think alot of players did that.
