It's surprising to see you use War God Fen and Simon on the first stage, since I always see it as an easy mode stage just to waste some of your units. I've been using units like Takemichi and trash equips to clear it. But I haven't touched it since I ascended my War God Fen, so has the difficulty changed?

No it hasn't changed I was only farming those 2 first stages since I don't have the equips and units to do stages 3-5.
