At some point every Christian’s faith will be tested in the area of conscience and duty-to see whether you will have the courage to obey God rather than man wherever man’s law and authority contradicts the higher law and authority of God. The Early Church practiced civil disobedience wherever that contradiction existed. We have been living in a time more recently when government and/or employer policies, laws, and ordinances are increasingly at odds with God-with God’s policies, laws, and ordinances. And Christians in America are having to decide who is really Lord? And whom will you obey-God or man? Christians should be the best citizens, living in subjection to governing authority, praying and respecting our leaders. But where the contradiction exists, may God help us to say as the Early Church did-“We must obey God rather than men!” (Acts 5:29)

In 2021, I was working for a law firm in Cape Town, South Africa. Once the vaccine was rolled out for my age group (22+ years) I refused to get it. My boss would pressure me on a daily basis, threaten my job for refusing to get it. It got to a point where she was willing to take me to the vaccine site to have the jab. I refused and resigned because I will always honour God over anyone else.
Today, my husband and I run a successful business that I say is God’s business and we couldn’t be happier.
That is wonderful and encouraging 🙏🏻

Thank you for being the most amazing teacher. I am following the Dr Vernon McGee study guide for Acts with my tiny study group in Vung Tau Vietnam. (We are international teachers and there’s no english speaking church here.) I also printed out your notes for our group on Acts and for homework we must watch your video. I watch you daily. You are the easiest teacher to understand and I adore your humour. God has gifted you with the greatest gift of teaching Gods word and I am eternally grateful. Thank you Jesus for Pastor Gary. 🙏

As you experience trials…not when you experience trials. I left my local UMC because their new doctrines went against my interpretation of scripture. I could not continue serving in children’s ministry that went against scripture. I have yet to find a new church. I appreciate Cornerstone chapel. I appreciate you Pastor Gary. I love Jesus.

You do such a great job explaining the word. I love my pastor,but his style is different. We have a local church just outside Montgomery, Al that's has a exodus or sorts because they hired a female pastor. If you have a video about why men are supposed to be the pastors,please share the name. I'm not a fan of anything woke but I think it's hurting our young people to a severe point that I don't know how our grandchildren are going to live in soddom and Gomorrah 2.0, God won't put up with this too much longer.
