About the "there's no fun movie anymore like in the 90s" topic, I just wanted to say that there are tons of amazing movies nowadays, but the society has mutated into a society of spoiled kids... And what I mean by that is that, in the 90s, not all movies were Terminator 2 or Indiana Jones... It's a huge trend nowadays to say that all 90s movies were a 10 out of 10, but even if a lot of them were fun and entertaining, the thing is that in most cases it was what they were at best. And don't get me wrong, that's cool, and we had some great fun time for sure ! 👍 And since COVID people don't go to the movie theater anymore and rather stay at home watching movies on their TV like you do ; the vibe is different now, the mindset of the audience too ; but the quality is here more than ever. 👌💯✨ The truth is that movies like the first Avatar or Avengers Endgame are at the top of the all-time box office, the Fast & Furious movies make a lot of money,...etc. And what I mean by that is that people love contemporary movies (2010s and beyond), but it doesn't make you sound cool enough if you praise contemporary movies over 90s movies ; and it's called "primacy bias". 😉 While in the end, we all know that there's a ton of great movies made after 2010 (tell me you don't like Interstellar, Django Unchained, Parasite, the Dune movies, Avengers Infinity War & Endgame, Mad Max Fury Road, Spider-Man into the Spider-Verse, Inception, Arrival, the John Wick saga, the Planet of the Apes saga, Logan, The Revenant, Top Gun Maverick, the Creed movies, the Guardian of the Galaxy movies,...etc I could go on and on forever, because there are tons of post-2010s movies, but you just decide to purposely develop some amnesia in order to put on the forefront the fake fact that there were tons of 10 out of 10 movies in the 90s and there's none after 2010)... The percentage of high quality movies is very probably much higher than it was 30 years ago, but the economic model of cinema isn't the same anymore (production budgets for streaming services happen to be high in few occasions only, because the benefits aren't as concrete as it was when people actually were going in theaters in huge numbers) + like I said, people now are spoiled kids who love to hate on everything because it makes you look smarther, when in fact we are way way more spoiled with quality content than we were in the 90s... And that's the thing, because when there was a huge movie (like Terminator 2, for example, this was an absolute event, and this lasted fairly well until the end of Marvel Studios phase 3 (Avengers Endgame) with the combination of the COVID factor... Now, when something big gets released, only a share of the population gets excited over it while the rest is like "meh". And it has nothing to do with the actual quality of movies (more and more great movies fail financially and/or find an audience), but with the fact that people don't go out anymore + the fact that we are spoiled with a shit-ton of good, great and very creative stuffs (whether it is videogames or movies or series) ; and believe me, if in the 90s we had half of what we're having now (in terms of quantity & quality as well), we would have been crazy excited af !!! PS : Love your reactions, but : DADDY, CHILL, don't fall into the primacy bias thingy ! We are spoiled with tons of great stuffs, we are extremely lucky ! 90s movies were a lot of fun, that's 100% for sure, but loving them doesn't prevent us from loving all these amazing contemporary movies ! 🎬❤ Bye now ! 💬✨
You guys HAVE to watch “From Dusk till Dawn”. Its produced and I believe written by Quentin Tarantino. He stars in it too! And lemme tell ya, your jaws will DROP.
I worked with Salma Hayek on a move set for a week. She brought 5 pet dogs with her on the set every day and I got to play with them with James Gandolfini.
Unlike today's stupid "perfect" female superheroes, Jamie Lee Curtis played a very awkward, goofy character who screwed up a lot. In other words, she was believable.
The bridge scene was filmed in the Florida Keys - I lived right there, and watched that entire scene being filmed! The scene where Curtis was hanging from the helicopter was indeed real - she did that stunt herself! It was even crazier to see in person - like, legitimately terrifying!
Hands down my favorite Arnold movie. This is number one! Yes the movie predator was good but there’s just something about this movie that makes it so great!!!
You have 4 more Terminators and 3 of them have Arnold - also TWO Conan movies starring him, Eraser was good, and The 6th Day! Dana later starred on True Calling and The Dollhouse, and between this movie and those series, she was Faith the Vampire Slayer. Harry's best bud was Roseanne's husband. The villain who kept fighting Jamie Lee Curtis was a star in both Wayne's World films - movies I know Ash would like.
Such a hilarious reaction, honestly you two are a movie unto yourselves! Thanks so much for watching something I could watch too (I can't do the horror/gore stuff). Looking forward to hopefully seeing some more like this! And can you do ''When Harry Met Sally'' pls? Such a funny romcom. And there's defo a scene you BOTH would LOVE!!! ;) xx
He’s clearly seen most/all of these films before and just pretends that he hasn’t for the reaction. There’s loads of times he reacts to things before they happen - something he could only do if he’d already seen the film. I find it amusing to watch him … let’s face it, he seems fun, but he’s not exactly the brightest person in the world. 😂
@@DrMark1981I grew up watching movies all the time, and there are still so many movies I haven't seen. And I've been at it for almost 4 decades. I only saw Casablanca recently (absolute perfection) Ash apparently grew up in the middle east and migrated to the UK. It's no surprise he hasn't seen every movie ever made, like you have. I've seen thousands of movies and still haven't seen any of The Godfather movies, 12 Angry Men, Casablanca as someone else has mentioned, Schindler's List, Inception, any of the new Star Wars films, and I can go on and on.
That's because he was getting his divorce from Roseanne Barr in 1994 when this was made. Def my go to for movie reviews! xoxo 💋 -a fan in Palm Beach Florida
More than a couple of entertaining movies left in Arnie's filmography: Conan the Barbarian, Commando, Red Sonja, The Running Man, Twins, Kindergarten Cop, Eraser, End of Days, The 6th Day.
I love their reactions, I truly do. And I'm subscribed to both their channels. But one day...One day I want someone to explain to Ash what "Symbolisms" really means.
I remember seeing them film this in downtown Miami when I was in 8th grade in 93. Side note: Eliza Dushku stated that while filming True Lies at the age of twelve, she was sexually molested by the film's stunt coordinator, Joel Kramer. According to Dushku, soon after that, an adult friend of hers confronted Kramer on set, and that same day, Dushku was injured during a stunt and several of her ribs were broken, while Kramer was responsible for her safety.[11] Kramer has denied the accusation of sexual misconduct.[12] Dushku's co-stars Arnold Schwarzenegger, Jamie Lee Curtis, Tom Arnold, and director James Cameron all voiced support and admiration for Dushku's bravery
Almost ZERO chance that her claims were true. Ever been on an active movie set. Most of them are far from "quiet". there might be 50 people or more running around the area where the production location is active. Among those are REAL COPS. It could be more plausible on a low-budget movie set but this was a big budget movie with a lot of people involved every day of shooting, I am sure. The closest thing to quiet on a movie set are the actor's trailers but I doubt a stunt coordinator would ever be in one of those trailers for any reason. I don't even think Dushku is being truthful about her ribs being broken. Injuries like that could delay a production for months.
The guy bringing the comic relief is Tom Arnold. Old folks like me know him as Rosanne Barr’s ex husband. I had the pleasure of meeting him at his stand up. One of the most slept on actors ever. Great dude!
Does anyone else agree, after that dance scene, that Jamie would have been the perfect Aeon Flux? The long legs, small waist, long neck, jaw line, the lips, put Aeon’s hair on her and she would have looked like the animated character come to life. She even has her voice. No dis to Charlize, I absolutely adore her too. My favorite of her’s is Atomic Blonde. Love that movie, and the fight scenes, especially Gascoine’s apartment, and the stairwell scenes.
Ash and Hannah That bridge part gotten blown up by the jets was going to be demolished by state of Florida when Cameron set up the scene. New span of the bridge is part of 7-mile bridge seen in the shot connects Keys (Key West) to mainland Florida.
Great reaction - as always. I liked seeing you enjoying this. This was a great movie by its time and still is. In my opinion there were a whole bunch of great movies in the 90s. Terminator 2, Basic Instinct, Jurassic Parc, True lies, Good Will Hunting, American Beauty, Titanic, The green mile, Schindlers list, Seven, Pulp fiction... and many more. All these movies had everything, what a movie must have: excitement, great comedy, drama, feelings, handmade action, really touching moments ... It was (and still is) always fun to watch them again and again. I'm looking forward to see what movie you'll choose next. Greetings from Germany Alex
Arnold stepping on the leg of a gun and immediately shooting it after landing right into his hands has got to be one of the most badass moves I've ever seen on film. Come on now. What beats that???
The track sign EZ VAN, its mean THIS IS in hungarian language, referance to producer Andrew J. Vajna. He producer in many classic action movies: Terminator, Rambo, Air America, Red Heat, Angel Heart and more....😀
Hannah is confusing Bill Paxton with Bill Pullman (Independence Day). Happens all the time! Both are very good actors and good at different genres. Missing Paxton, natch.
I HAVE SEEN 20 reactions to TRUE LIES !!!! And no one has gotten the "NATASHA" line yet from Jamie. The 1950's "Rocky and Bullwinkle" cartoon adventures of an idiotic Moose and a lovable naive Squirrel who always unknowingly spoil the plans of 2 incompetent Russian husband and wife spies. "BORIS and Natasha " !!! When I first saw this movie I wanted her contact name to be Natasha and was just as excited as Helen was at the possibility. IT WAS A GREAT LINE for this movie. I am 63 so somebody agree they got the joke besides me
this is actually a remake (of a french movie I think) but ramped up for Arnie, its just such a rare example of every casting being perfect, everyone has chemistry every effect lands perfectly and it all feels so good!, FYI they actually dangled Jamie Lee Curtis from the underside of a helicopter for real for this movie, what a star!!!!
33:12 It is true. :) 35:05-35:41 That scene is very funny. And also unique like the dog head bashing scene. 44:46 Ash: I want that to happen when I wink...
In the Sylvester Stallone movie “Demolition Man” they make a joke about Arnold becoming the President of the United States. Then in Arnold’s movie “Last Action Hero” they go into a vhs rental store and there is a poster for the Terminator 2 movie, but it’s a picture of Stallone

The truth is that movies like the first Avatar or Avengers Endgame are at the top of the all-time box office, the Fast & Furious movies make a lot of money,...etc.
Bye now ! 💬✨
If you liked this then you'll love RED and RED 2 which feel like a 90s spy movie, its a great time i know for sure you guys would love it!
Damn it. I miss when movies were fun!
You two crack me up. I’d watch you two review anything. I feel like you’d banter could make anything hilarious.
This movie was like a therapy session for you guys.
17:02 & 17:44 Hannah (and Ash) this movie is from 1994... this is about 25 years before the every-woman-is-an-amazing-superhero thing...
Plus they actually blew up a real bridge! Forget CGI. Just blow stuff up for real!
Hands down my favorite Arnold movie. This is number one! Yes the movie predator was good but there’s just something about this movie that makes it so great!!!
I love how you both enjoyed the movie so much. a real Partner Movie
“If not for me do it for your country!”
😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
U have the “Get in the chopper & C’on” down perfect🤣😂
Such a hilarious reaction, honestly you two are a movie unto yourselves! Thanks so much for watching something I could watch too (I can't do the horror/gore stuff). Looking forward to hopefully seeing some more like this! And can you do ''When Harry Met Sally'' pls? Such a funny romcom. And there's defo a scene you BOTH would LOVE!!! ;) xx
LOL I thought at the very end there Hannah was gonna say "Honestly, my hips don't lie." 😁😁
As an Arnold fan, how THE HELL have you not already seen one of his best movies?!
I only saw Casablanca recently (absolute perfection)
Ash apparently grew up in the middle east and migrated to the UK. It's no surprise he hasn't seen every movie ever made, like you have.
When he's seen something before, like Terminator 2, he says so. I think he's genuine. Don't cut yourself on that edge.
@@DrMark1981Mate there is a react where he literally talks about how they had to smuggle and buy movies on the black market in Iran as a lot of films were illegal
@@DrMark1981 I love Arnie, but I haven't seen several of his movies. Red Heat, Raw Deal, Red Sonja, Total Recall(seen bits and pieces here and there), The 6th Day, Collateral Damage, and several others. Not everyone watches everything. I've seen thousands of movies and still haven't seen any of The Godfather movies, 12 Angry Men, Casablanca as someone else has mentioned, Schindler's List, Inception, any of the new Star Wars films, and I can go on and on.
My favorite Arnold movie is The Last Action Hero.
29:16 That change from the 80's dress to sexy black mini dress is one of the most wonderful things in movies ever. :)
This movie is the one time Tom Arnold's manic, coke-induced psychosis pays off comically. Highly underrated movie.
That's because he was getting his divorce from Roseanne Barr in 1994 when this was made.
Side note: end scenes filmed in Florida keys - I live in Palm beach and I saw them down there in the keys in
93' or 94' during filming.
Other side note: I LoVE watching you Hannah and Ash! Def my go to for movie reviews!
xoxo 💋
-a fan in Palm Beach Florida
It's not underrated! It's a hit!
It is weird how well his character worked in this movie. Normally he's annoying AF but he did a good job here.
He was really good in Nine Months too.
Underrated?? WTF? It's always in the discussion among Arnold's greatest action films from his prime: Predator. T2. True Lies.
I like the final scene, can’t remember if it was an after credit scene or not but I love the buddies comment about being in the van
as much as i understand that this video is a bit shortened ...
but where are the last 5+ minutes ? completely cut off :-(
I remember seeing them film this in downtown Miami when I was in 8th grade in 93.
Thanks for the info on that, I think Eliza is great in every other project she done. I hope she has healed from that trauma.
She was a pretty great scream queen there for a while. Hope she's doing well.
Horrible!!!😢
Great dude!
I worked with Tom on a movie set.
Ash and Hannah you should watch The Count of Monte Cristo (2002).
I worked with Dagmara Damyczick fronmTCOMC on a movie set.
That arnie impression gets a thumbs up from me :-) Fun film this. Curtis steals the show here.
Ash and Hannah
That bridge part gotten blown up by the jets was going to be demolished by state of Florida when Cameron set up the scene. New span of the bridge is part of 7-mile bridge seen in the shot connects Keys (Key West) to mainland Florida.
The scene of the bridge blowing up was all done with miniatures, it’s easy to find the behind scenes on youtube.
An Arnoldsance is long overdue. You should check out Mr. and Mrs. Smith.
9:17 tingly around the mingly 😂😂😂
Arnie really is a great comic actor…Kindergarten Cop and Twins being great examples of comedic roles. Would recommend!
Check out 'Trading Places'(1983). Eddie Murphy, Dan Ackroyd, Jamie Lee Curtis.
Also 'A Fish Called Wanda'.
This was the MOST fun to watch 😂
Also, this movie is why I love Jamie lol
Oh Ash. When you don't try to be funny, you are hilarious. JLC was 36 when she played Helen.
Greetings from Germany
Alex
I think Ash and Hannah should watch A Fish Called Wanda next!!
Would like to know if you have seen the movie Patch Adams with Robin Williams. Great movie and it is also based on a true story.
Bill Paxton as that sleasy bastard salesman was such a treat. A small role like that and what a performance.
I wish James Cameron would do another movie like this instead of Avatar sequels
Yeah avatar 2 was awful
True Lies is the last of the great Arnold 80s action flicks. Yes, I know it’s 1994, but tell me it’s not an Arnold 80s action flick!
If you liked this movie. You should watch…….Mr. and misses Smith
Arnold stepping on the leg of a gun and immediately shooting it after landing right into his hands has got to be one of the most badass moves I've ever seen on film. Come on now. What beats that???
I always replayed that part as a kid, so smooth!
I think she was confusing Bill Clintom with Bill Paxton.
She meant a real president I think. She was thinking of Bill Clinton.
I highly recommend watching the movie "Eraser" with Arnold. That's another classic movie.
Cameron at his most entertaining. You guys will love this action comedy.
Are you sure your not thinking of La Femme Nikita and Point Of No Return?
On this type/style of movie, you need to add Eraser to the list.
Absolute top fun action movie as well.
Another great Arnie one.
Yes!!!!! I can't wait.
See you soon you legend 🫡
33:12 It is true. :)
35:05-35:41 That scene is very funny. And also unique like the dog head bashing scene.
44:46 Ash: I want that to happen when I wink...
this is gonna be great
23:44 24:47 She is really talking about her fantasies... I hear you, Hannah. :D
Fun movie. Arnold and Jamie are great.
Fuck yea love this movie can’t wait for this reaction!!!
You have to check out Arnie in Kindergarten Cop! It is hilarious and just perfect 👌
This was the high water mark of Schwarzenegger's movie career.
No that would be Terminator 2.
4:34 That scene with the dogs is completely unique. :)
Not exactly. Bruce Lee did it.
great movie + reaction! This movie is just so much fun!
Another great, similar movie is "Mr. and Mrs. Smith" (2005) with Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie, great dark comedy 👍
