It was a great pitchers' duel until the bottom of the 6th. Of course it was a pitchers' day at Wrigley with the wind blowing in. I've always compared pitching duels to a staring contest. The first team that blinks loses, and the Rockies blinked -- especially Jones in left. I have never seen a play like that "Little League home run" in the majors before, and I have been watching baseball for over 60 years. That was a great play by Madrigal to end the game. If the ball gets lost in Blackmon's beard, is it a ground rule double? 🤣 Make it three in a row tomorrow and a sweep on Wednesday.
