Nothing...nor anyone could deny this Dodgers team from taking over the playoffs... The NL West Championship, the NLDS, the NLCS, and ultimately The World Series! Doc (Dave Roberts) did a masterful job juggling the lineup on the field and in the batting order, and not to mention the bullpen staff! The "bullpen games" were more successful than not during this time! All the experts said that The Dodgers would not last with just three "starting pitchers"...But they did! A masterful job in conjuring up a winning pitching staff! I will tell you all....the game has changed...I've been an old-school fan since the late 60s and love how Doc has managed this team and how we really don't have a "closer" any longer. It's about the situation of the game...I mean, he put in Kopech and Treinen (their high-end relievers) early, around the 5th or 6th innings to shut down the opposition to give the team a chance to come back offensively, and it had paid off more times than not! Despite all of the injuries to key players and the decimation of the starting pitching during the season, they came through, picked each other up, and got the job done! The front office was brilliant in obtaining such key players at the trade deadline this year. Kopech, KK, and Edmon especially! So looking forward to the new season in 2025. GO AZUL!!!!
As a Dodgers fan, that’s personally connected to the Dodgers organization, I hate everything about the Giants organization plus the classless commentators, straight unprofessional idiots. With that being said, I don’t hate on the players though. Since 2010 - -I give them my respect. Panda and Romo, love them. Romo being a Dodgers fan at heart and Panda being the Panda 🐼

When Vin Scully broadcast his final game it was at Oracle Park and before the first pitch they played Vin's iconic "It's time for Dodger baseball" and when he passed they had a moment of silence and passed their condolences. Watching this now, that Padre's series feels like it was so long ago even if it was only 3 weeks. It felt like a series for the ages. Even if it was only a 5 game division series, neither the Mets nor Yankees gave the Dodgers a challenge like the Padres did. I feel like we should thank them for getting the Dodgers revved up for the rest of the post-season.
I think freddie freeman's walk off grand slam is gonna be one of those memories that none of us will forget where we were when that happened because of how awesome and unforgettable that moment was lol.
