Calculations were purely European Continent itself. Only territory, residing people of transcontinental countries were added. (Transcontinental countries are Russia, Turkey, Armenia etc). It's not just about European Union (EU) But in a whole Continental scale.

There is a bit inaccuracy on some maps shown in the video. Gotta change my map dealer. :) Plus, this is not a political propaganda video about the European Union. It's about the continent itself and some hypothetical fun. EU sure as hell would not want Russia in the Union or the southern Caucasus region down to some parts of Central Asian countries. So enjoy! :)

Also if United Europe was to be treated as a country then I don't understand how theoretical 98% votes winning over your 2% isn't democratic... Do you think that Joe Biden winning US elections by winning more votes is undemocratic too? I'm gonna say no... eurovicion is one of the worst examples to use, it actually shows the extreme division europe has in a negative way. Like how east european countries will always vote for eachother, how for some reason it's the only time Israel is considered european, etc...not a good example there.

@@TheChill001 I have to agree because in the past Eurovisions, it had some differential cultural songs in the 1970's and 1980's, but today's Eurovision is a complete piece of shit - no identification/representation of cultures/nations (differences - what makes Europe unique/interesting and worth exploring) with majority of the songs in the English language and/or westernised songs that sound all the same...So it is not a good example in today's context. Europe is becoming more culturally connected sadly, but mentally is still divided. It should be the other way to have a better life :/ . And yeah, Israel and Australia being in the event, Eurovision, is a totally bullocks!

In most other countries there's is some to great understanding of the English language...it's an obvious choice really. German isn't spoken outside the countries where it's the mothertongue...same goes for French, Italian and Spanish(at least in europe). SO the only language possible to use as a lingua franca in Europa, perhaps with Russian as second best as most of eastern Europe either speaks it or has been heavily influenced by it in the past 100 years or so.

Rey Nemaattori actualy, german has a majority as motherlanguage in europeans.
many countries learn english, native manguage and german.
also don't forget: people in italy, austria, switzerland, germany, france & eastern neighbouring coungries to germany, all talk some form of german in some parts of their countries. like, tirol (italy), strassburg (france), etc.
it's like 100mil. people who talk german as their native language in europe. while english is only the natuve language of the uk, which isn't even part of the EU soon.

We should have advanced into this very long ago.
If you live in a European nation(except Russia),know that in future, your country will be nothing in comparison with the superpowers,it will end overpassed in nearly all aspects, and will end constantly humiliated on the world stage,in time you will even lose your freedom, because the superpowers will bribe most your politicians, like if you were a sattelite, it is to obey or face the consequences.

It's not enough to be "united" , the method of unification matters. The US is supposed to be a federated system, with each state having a large amount of autonomy. California has a different culture than Kansas, not so different as between Austria and Italy. But even this small difference translates into big problems when one culture imposes its will over others using a strong central government... As the US becomes more centralized it is actually becoming more brittle. Strong but brittle.
The EU, because of its diversity, would need to be more federalized, less centralized than the US. It looks like it is going the opposite direction.

The EU makes nations stronger, and more prosperous, and I feel sorry for England, because unlike Scotland, which is hopefully gonna become independent, and then rejoin the EU, England have no way out of it. I think the capital of the «United States of Europe», as I would call them, would be either Brussels, Bern, Frankfurt am Main or Vienna. And I would pick Frankfurt out of them for several reasons:
    1. It‘s already the bank center of Europe and the most powerful city of Europe‘s biggest country (Germany).
    2. It‘s located very well in the center.
    3. Frankfurt‘s airport is one of the biggest and most important European airports.

  • @jakubmleczko5117
    @jakubmleczko5117 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

Proposed capitals of Europe (refering europe to the united country):
Warsaw - reasons - being in the middle of europe, which means easy access + being located in flatlands (bonus im a pole so might as well)
Vienna - reasons - also located somewhere in the easy reach, just beside the mountains, meaning that any invasion of europe would have a secured capital near the strong western europe, many known buildings and develpoed culture.
Berlin, London, Moscow or Paris - reasons - big and developed cities of important and strong nations
Brusseles - reasons - near strong regions, already with eu parliment building so it's purpose can just be changed to headquarters of the country or like the capitol
Istambul - reasons - easy access for outside delegations, populated city and in strategic place
Munich - reasons - just kinda mix up Warsaw's and Vienna's reasons into 1 so it's a bit of both of these.

Normal people struggle to survive with the crazy high cost of living here due to inflated prices. The cheapest rents here are 3,000 a month, it’s crazy. There’s a massive exodus from here to other more livable states like Texas.

Yeah but everyone hates Brussels, so I highly doubt that. If it would ever happen, it would be a pan-European nationalistic union, so it's very likely that an official capital is never recognised, or have the capital in Rome. Rome civilized Europe and brought technology and prosperity after all, plus all roads lead to Rome.

I would say Vienna could become the Capital, considering it's largely central position and it being considered the cultural capital of Europe. Other choices might be Berlin because of it's political power and it representing the divide between Ex Iron Curtain and Western countries, or Prague for some people feeling nostalgic for the golden city. Cities that fall off the possibility list are Rome (though home of the roman empire, it's not as relevant as it used to be, not having neither the political importance, economic power or population), London (too far west, and though economically the strongest city, people would not agree the capital be in the British Isles), Brussels (being the EU capital just because of the politics at the time of the EU forming) and Moscow (too far east and no one would want the capital situated in Russia [except the russians and pan slavists], even though it's the largest population wise)

Bratislava would be great I think. Easy access, on the Danube, not too many old buildings, so plenty of space to really build-up the political infrastructure (some nice parliament and so on). Also not many countries hold grudges against Slovakia and no one would really expect Slovaks to somehow try to control the EU...
