The relic normally drops inside your person such that any objects / bullets coming from your character stick the relic first. Dropping the relic while being inside of a stasis crystal forces the relic behind you instead, allowing you to shoot freely.
@@shrimpd2 you did manage to get the pick up prompt fast enough, but throwing grenades does tend to animation lock you for a while so it didn't pick up. Pretty lucky, would have really sucked if you died from that.
If you shoot all three oracles in a short window of time, you won't wipe to breaking in the wrong order. While you should aim to break all three at the same time, the actual amount of time you have is very forgiving.
I have loadouts on DIM, but because of the raid changes in TFS there's a good chance you will need to use master Atheon loadouts to clear. Check out this video instead: th-cam.com/video/PRkAiaHzJJw/w-d-xo.html
Since the raid race is over I've had some time to test in this encounter, you should be able to do near identical damage this season with the same loadouts as before (but only on solar surge weeks).

at the end it kind of looked like you hesitated on whether to squeeze out one more grenade or pickup the relic, and it almost cost you.
It's 100% the relic over a grenade there, I just had a lapse in judgement. Luckily he was low enough to die to 1 more grenade.
