So sweet! I was guessing $500 when I saw all those bins. Your scrapyard definitely uses more categories than mine does. Probably means my scrapyard is paying me lower prices overall.
My scrapyard doesn’t pay out for cleaned anything…it’s all considered dirty….except for copper…then it has to be shiny and cleaned perfectly…if not then it’s all #2 payout…they figure…where else are we gonna take our metal then lol…they’re the only scrapyard within 70 miles….

Damn that's crappy of them I'd definitely find a different yard or there's gotta be buyers for your precious metals somewheres around you or maybe even an idea to get into
I bet that took at least an hour to get all weighted out! And I know the amount of time it takes to strip and clean everything. Not to mention the amount of time saving up enough for a worthwhile load. Our closest scrap yard is about 40 miles away. And they don't pay out near as much as you're getting. We for sure have been ripped off some before too. Stay safe! ❤️🙏✝️

I got a BIG non ferrous run in going tomorrow. Found almost 100 big industrial old aluminum baking sheets as well as a lot more aluminum and stainless. Love this side hustle
