I haven't been a Cinnabon in years, but when I was able, I loved it. On a side note, I found Cinnabon ice Cream from Breyers in the supermarket and boy, it was good!
Nothing but “name” recognition. When KispyKreme came to town, a local news team did a blind taste test. KrispyKreme, Dunkin, and the local chain grocery... H-E-B came in first then Dunkin and KrispyKreme last almost.95% of the time. Yet when they opened there was a line around the block. Amazing.H-E-B is the local grocer.
I worked there on and off from 2004-2010 while I was in school. I loved it even though we were severely underpaid. The classic roll was $2.99 when I started. A few months ago my fiancé and I decided to get a mini roll at the mall and I was shook when they said that tiny thing is now $3.19 😆
Before today I never knew that there were actual Cinnabon stores, I only saw their products in supermarkets like Walmart and thought nothing of it. I loved their cereal because it tastes good and it took longer to get soggy in milk but I hadn’t seen their cereal in ages.
I'm shocked. I thought, since you were talking about the restaurant group were going to say that the one thing they all had in common was the cinnamon rolls and that was the srpringboard to the new company. Great video as usual.
When I think Cinnamon rolls the first thing that comes to my mind is Cinnabon. And that's probably the only place, at least in a mall/theme park in the US i'd feel comfortable getting something like a Cinnamon roll from. It's probably more that it's the only reliable place for a cinnamon roll fix that's fresh out the oven.
This company is a true business...their practices demonstrate a true understanding of how humans behave and react to certain things. They're so good at this that they don't even have to advertise much.
Cinnabon was always a special treat shopping with my wife at the mall. She’d want some and of course I did too. Gooey stuff, good flavor, didn’t care that the nutritional value was lacking.
Bring back good memories! When I used to work for Cinnabon back in High School, but I do gotta say the quality has changed from quality to quantity!! The dough, used to be made from scratch, now it’s sheets coming in frozen, wouldn’t doubt that the frosting isn’t made from scratch anymore but awesome vids
The smell is what got me at a mall in Great Lakes Illinois. I thought it was a candle shop or nicknac shop like I had in my home mall. As I got closer to it I saw these huge delectable cinnamon rolls sitting there waiting on me to eatem up with a cold glass of milk. I'm a cinnamon addict anyway I've been in love with them since 1996. They were also featured in the movie Time Cop. For a short while during the holidays they had a cranberry version of their rooll which wasn't so great. For what ever reason they changed the pecan one up from the original that had a small amount of icing but a lot of caramel, and pecans almost like a sticky bun but the new joint they have now is just lazy a.f the coat an already iced cinnabon in caramel and pecans.
I absolutely loved them about 12 years ago when I used to get them but my latest trip to get some found that they have gone downhill since they started using frozen dough and less frosting. Thankfully you can buy more and top it yourself. I am not sure if they use frozen dough at all locations or just gas stations kiosks.
When I was a kid.....when my momma went to the mall to take herself or us shopping...it's was one of two places where me and my sisters wanted to go when she ready to leave...either Cinnabon or TCBY...BTW...if you can do a video on what happened to TCBY...that would be cool AF...!
For my vote, it's gotta be Millie's in Van Nuys, CA. Just astounding all the way around - flavor, size, price. (no, I don't get anything from them for this)
I love Cinnabon - the nearest one to me is over 1 1/2 hours away so when I can get there I will ALWAYS buy a dozen and put them in the freezer to last several weeks !!
I know my maternal grandmother loved eating Cinnabon as her favorite treat whenever my mom and I would be at the mall as a kid. I miss her so much now.
Where I live the only reason I know what Cinnabon is is because I sometimes see it on Coffee Creamers I get from the store. I assumed it tastes like a cinnamon roll, but I really don't taste anything but creamer...
I loved Cinnabon from the smell of the store, and when I bought my first one. I liked when they came out with the mini buns. I believe it came to our mall in late 1980s. I like the history you told.
My sister worked at a Cinnabon in 2017. She was made to clean the walk-in dough vats between batches. One day, she was scraping the remaining dough from the sides of the sweetening cannon when someone leaned on the mixing lever. You guessed it. She was immediately killed by the kneading attachment. It's how she would have preferred to go. I don't hold it against Cinnabon, but you would think the family of an employee killed in their mixing machinery could occasionally get a free cinnamon roll, or God forbid, a discount, but no. I think they owe us that, at least.
When I work at my Cinnabon, sometimes we intentionally overcook the cinnamon rolls to entice more customers and then release the oven doors to overwhelm the mall with the smell. Smart tactic

Regarding Cinnabon, I looked some more and found an invitation claiming Cinnabon plans to expand to Germany and asking people interested in opening a franchise to contact them, but that invitation or ad, or whatever it is, was from January 2017 and since not a single franchise has opened in the 3 years since then, it seems they must have given up on their plans to come to Germany.
From a USA person whose friend who was not stationed there, but in another country close to it. ::: apparently the troops will vote on which businesses will be served in their respective oversea bases bi annually. My guess is it got rotated out.
I remember living in the us military base in Wiesbaden Germany that had a cinnabon in it before. I don't think it's there anymore though
@@jaylinwyatt2422 The one I found is in Rammstein. But as I said, it is unclear whether it still exists.
You don’t have Russia on your “Cinnabon map” (in the very beginning of the video), yet four photos in this video are in fact from Russia. Great video though! Thanks.
Merry Christmas everyone🎄🎁

No.
Head to your nearest Walmart to see how eerie an empty Walmart parking lot looks like.
I haven't been a Cinnabon in years, but when I was able, I loved it. On a side note, I found Cinnabon ice Cream from Breyers in the supermarket and boy, it was good!
SG WAS HERE
Nothing but “name” recognition.
HEB brand anything is pretty solid 99% of the time.
Dunkin donuts are terrible. Krispy Kreme is ok. I never think about buying donuts in HEB.
Jaron H-M and that’s why KrispyKreme wins...
HEB sour cream donuts are unbeatable.
I lived in TX in 2002-2010...miss HEB a lot.
I love KrispyKreme donuts, they are lighter, fluffier, or maybe just not as dense as other donuts.
They should do some Breaking Bad/Better Call Saul Marketing deal.
They feature in those shows, it might attract fans.
I talk about that in the video Thomas.
@@companyman114 Yeah I made the comment before I watched it, good video btw.
Do a video on a grocery store called Meijer, I’m very curious to see how they’ve kept up with other companies in the same business.
I worked there on and off from 2004-2010 while I was in school. I loved it even though we were severely underpaid. The classic roll was $2.99 when I started. A few months ago my fiancé and I decided to get a mini roll at the mall and I was shook when they said that tiny thing is now $3.19 😆
In 2023 a minibon is now $5.50
Before today I never knew that there were actual Cinnabon stores, I only saw their products in supermarkets like Walmart and thought nothing of it. I loved their cereal because it tastes good and it took longer to get soggy in milk but I hadn’t seen their cereal in ages.
I ate a Cinnabon... at the airport... THAT I ARRIVED IN

I'm shocked. I thought, since you were talking about the restaurant group were going to say that the one thing they all had in common was the cinnamon rolls and that was the srpringboard to the new company. Great video as usual.
I can't express how much I love Cinnabon and how much I wish there was one were I live 😭

I know Cinnabon because of Saul Goodman!!

I wouldn’t be surprised if there is MSG in it lol. That stuff can cause sweating.
Seen a Cinnabon? You can't go in a shopping mall without smelling it 😍
Bring back good memories! When I used to work for Cinnabon back in High School, but I do gotta say the quality has changed from quality to quantity!! The dough, used to be made from scratch, now it’s sheets coming in frozen, wouldn’t doubt that the frosting isn’t made from scratch anymore but awesome vids
Do Bic please Company Man! Interested to know how they got so big selling school supplies.. and lighters?
@ger du exactly!
I work at a Cinnabon and not only the cinnamon buns but the iced coffee and the chillatas are also so stinkin’ good!
You are doing the Lords work! I LOVE YOU GUYS!

Silence, good sir. Let us get to the delicious bounty of feasting that is the *CINNABON.*
Merry Christmas!
I live in Britain, and cinnamon is my favourite thing ever. I once had one and loved it so much, and now I wish it existed in Britain.
They also sell sin abban's in the refrigerated section at Dollar Tree.

I love Cinnabon so much but I can’t eat them often. I treated myself to some for my last birthday. 🎉 Great gift to self!
I absolutely loved them about 12 years ago when I used to get them but my latest trip to get some found that they have gone downhill since they started using frozen dough and less frosting. Thankfully you can buy more and top it yourself. I am not sure if they use frozen dough at all locations or just gas stations kiosks.

Cinnabon is successful because their cinnamon rolls are insanely tasty. Unfortunately I haven't had one for the better part of a decade now.

I love Cinnabon, when one finally opened up at my local mall I was so excited 😫🤤
When Howard Stern revealed that Eric the Actor follows them on Twitter, Cinnabon became a made company.
You are such a clever, interesting, smart person -- with a great speaking voice. Thanks for sharing. The research you do undoubtedly is time consuming
Where I live the only reason I know what Cinnabon is is because I sometimes see it on Coffee Creamers I get from the store. I assumed it tastes like a cinnamon roll, but I really don't taste anything but creamer...
Fun fact: Cinnabon has a deal with Pillsbury. You can bake your own Cinnabon rolls at home, complete with that sweet Cinnabon icing.
But the ones from the mall are far superior in my opinion.
they don't taste the same
@@reedbrooks3887 because they are not pre mixed and stuff in a cotainer for weeks. the bakery department of grocery stores have ones almost as good.
