YES! I was hoping you’d make a strawberry cake! My mom loves anything strawberry and I just love baking your cake recipes and buttercream recipes, OOOOOHHHH I can’t wait to make this! I’m not sure if anyone else has this issue with making the buttercream but no matter how cooled the meringue is, once I add the butter… It falls. BUT! I’ve tried both taking the mixing bowl with all the butter added into it and just putting it in the fridge for 15-20 minutes then mixing again and just holding ice packs around the bowl. Both work! It solidified and creams back up and is just sooooooo good! Someone complimented the taste of the cake and icing, *instantly* texted her your website lol. Thanks for the new recipes!
now THAT is great buttercream problem solving! I added about a cup of ground freeze-dried strawberries to my classic vanilla cake batter :) I hope you try and make this for your mom because it was sooooo good 💕
For those of you who might feel like they don’t have enough time or think you wouldn’t be able to do this cake project, just remember that she has an entire staff helping her make this cake board
