Little nightmares setting is so unsettling to me because of the fact that NOWHERE is safe. You are in constant danger wherever you go and are constantly moving. The game does not explain anything about how the world got to where it is today, and as a viewer you're just saddled with questions. Its very interesting
There's very, very few games that even come close to matching the atmosphere of this game of making me feel like this game did, aside obviously from the sequel. I'd say the game that captured that feeling best was DARQ. And while very different in tone and gameplay, Lost in Random gives me that sense of morbid wonder as well.

Maaaaan i didn't think anybody else was getting to this game so late like i did. My roommate at the time and I had a tradition to get drunk/high and play horror sidescrollers on our tv, this one was a huge bonding experience for us. We'd pass the controller back and forth and solve all the puzzles together while completely intoxicated lol. I have so many fond memories of this and the second game because of it. Plus I absolutely adore this game artistically (the shapes are wonderful). Thanks for playing this! Its really fun to get a new pair of eyes on something this good.

I've always been sort of interested in this game but am awful with horror, so when I saw this video I was very interested since I know therm's editing style enough to know it should help. And it was a very fun experience and I wasn't freaked out too bad! However I have no clue what just happened lmao

hey, fun fact! i myself was in the studio that made this game while they where making little nightmares 2, just for a day. i had to sign some papers to keep quiet about the project until it got confirmed to the public, even pointed out a slight animation error in one of the walking animations wich the animator fixed while i was sitting beside. very nice people, got to talk a lot about art. that was almost 5 years ago.
